Description

Cala del Moro is located about 6 km away from Santanyi, southeastern Majorca, in a small cove surrounded by an area of protected vegetation, features that make it a true piece of paradise. Considered by many to be the most beautiful beach on the island, it is around 30 meters long, but this measurement varies depending on the frequent storm surges that affect the area and often end up eroding and reducing the shoreline.

Cala del Moro has soft, white sand and a crystal clear turquoise sea; it is also crisscrossed by high cliffs that enclose it on both sides. It is a very popular beach in the Santanyi district, which is why it is quite crowded in the summer, especially on weekends.
There are no restaurants directly on the beach; on the other hand, it is a great place to be able to go diving and snorkeling.

The cove is particularly small and treacherous, soanchoring near the sandy shore is not recommended and dangerous. However, by keeping a safe distance, it is possible to stay at anchor for a swim of a few hours. The wave motion there is constant, so it is advisable to pay close attention to the boat at all times. Although slightly uncomfortable as a destination, its wild and almost sublime appearance are worth the visit and, above all, guarantee a magnificent swim.

The municipality of Santanyí occupies southeastern Majorca, and Cap de ses Salines is the southernmost island territory, 150 kilometers from Africa (North African privateers and pirates attacked between the 14th and 17th centuries). The origin of its toponym is uncertain. King Jaume II named it a village in the year 1300.

Its landscape unfolds between the land and the sea, combining crops without irrigation with natural vegetation. This ecological and ethnographic value made the Government of the Balearic Islands declare Mondragó (782 hectares) a natural park in the year 1992. The northern area accommodates the last reliefs of Serres de Llevant (Penya Bosca, 280 meters high), and in the southern stretches a marina (3.5 kilometers inland) and a 35-kilometer coastline where streams flow, including s’Estany de ses Gambes (41-hectare pond) and es Pontàs (an emerging rock in the shape of an arch).

Beginning in the 1950s, tourism began in this municipality, pushing trade, construction, quarries of marès, gravel, and pedra de Santanyí (used since the Islamic period and in Majorca’s most important historical constructions, Almudaina, Castell de Bellver, Llotja o la Seu, and exported to Catalonia, France, and Italy).

Cultural richness will be known by visiting es Rafals des Porcs, Son Danús, Can Jordi, churches of Sant Andreu, Roser y Calonge, Porta Murada, Aljub, Abeurador, Can Clar, towers d’en Bossa and d’en Beu, or es Fortí.
The municipality has a total of 19 beaches, all equally breathtaking.

Santanyì has lately become an important cultural center in Mallorca, especially in the fields of painting, music and poetry, to the point that literary investigator Jaume Vidal Alcover, a professor at the Universidad de Tarragona, has gone so far as to talk about the Santañy school of poetry, which influenced all poetry on the island.

Do you need to sell your boat? You are in the right place! Tuttobarche.it is in fact the largest online portal on recreational boating and in this section you will be able to write your ad for free if you want to sell your boat. Adding a new sales message is very simple and intuitive as is finding a boat you are interested in buying, but to make your listing even more appealing, we want to give you some general but important pointers that you can follow if you wish.

First of all, try to personalize your ad, describing the history of the boat and perhaps the reason why you are selling it, this way you will gain more trust from the reader.

You can call it “half-new” if it is almost new, or “used” by specifying whether or not it is in good condition. It indicates the condition of the engines, the year of registration, how many owners it has had-most importantly, it indicates whether the boat has been owned by a single owner: it increases interest to those reading the ad.

The goodness of your craft must shine through in your message, because before you can convince someone, you yourself must be convinced that the product is good.

It is important that no spelling errors are made in the advertisement, so reread the message well before putting it online. The language then must be clear and simple, understandable to all.

It serves to attract interest and induce the reader to continue reading; it is the most important part and should summarize in one line the whole message we want to give. Unfortunately, you don’t have much chance to stand out much except with something really original to attract attention. So focus on truly original details of the boat, its real qualities: in the Tuttobarche.it portal this brief summary will appear by hovering over the picture of the boat with the mouse.

It is important to clearly include the general record of the vessel. Always enter: shipyard, model, length, width, draft, engines, number of cabins, year of construction, price.

In the boat sheet accurately enter all boat details, standard and extra equipment. It is useful to communicate many details and details for those who are really interested and will continue reading beyond the first few lines.

Suggest to the reader who wants to buy the best features of your craft, and do not indicate-unless it is necessary to inform the buyer in advance-information that might negatively influence the reader.

Always indicate the price. Unless you absolutely do not want to deal, we recommend adding the words “price negotiable” which gives an incentive for the buyer to contact you.
