Cala en Feliu

Cala en Feliu is located about 18 kilometers from Pollença ( and 4.4 nautical miles from its ports), at the northeastern end of Mallorca’s coastline.
It is a small U-shaped inlet where many streams flow and is surrounded by high rocky cliffs, covered with vegetation.

The shore and seabed of Cala en Feliu are made of pebbles and stones and offer passing boaters suitable conditions for anchoring. The rocks are partially covered by seaweed, and the difference in depth of the seabed is quite significant: at 100 meters from the shore-distancing in a space of another 100 meters-you go from a draft of about 7 meters to a draft of about 12 meters.
The area is affected by winds from the first and second quadrants (from the northeast, east, southeast, and south), which can sometimes be strong.

In case of unfavorable weather, you may decide to head to the Port de Pollença and moor at the Real Club Nautico- Port de Pollença, which offers 75 places reserved for passing boaters, maintenance and repair services, 50-ton travelift and 3-ton crane, as well as a fueling station open year-round.

At the bottom of the cove is a pebble beach, which is mainly reached by sea: access by land is in fact made very complex by the lack of a defined path, and the only way to reach the cove on foot is to venture into the surrounding maquis woods along the slopes that surround the cove.
In addition, since this is an area subject to special regulations, it is a good idea to inquire at the Pollença tourist office about the route to be taken and any authorizations.

Cala en Feliu is part of the municipality of Pollença, a town of Roman origin, founded during the capture of Majorca by Quintus Caecilius Metellus around 120 BC.
