Cala Llonga is located along the southeastern coast of Ibiza, near Santa Eularia des Riu.
The bay is wide and has a jagged coastline with many small inlets.
It has a U-shape and extends toward the mainland for about 700 meters.
It is located in an urbanized area and is surrounded by high, steep cliffs where small cores of buildings and patches of vegetation alternate.
The seabed is of the sandy type, with seaweed.
The conformation of the bay and its naturally protective shape protect the coast well, making the waters calm and the winds not very aggressive, making it an excellent area for scuba diving, snorkeling and anchoring.
The winds that affect the anchorage are from the east and southeast.
The best place to anchor in the waters of Cala Llonga is in the area from the entrance of the bay to its central area.The depth of the seabed varies from 16 meters at the entrance to 5/ 10 meters in the central part.
Cala Llonga beach is located in the innermost part of the inlet.
It is wide and long and consists of fine, light-colored sand.
The beach can also be easily reached by land, leaving your car in a free parking lot nearby, or by public transportation (the bus stop is about 50 meters away from the beach).
Beach patrons will find kiosks here where they can rent beach equipment (sunbeds, umbrellas), showers and toilets.
Access ramps make the beach usable for people with mobility disabilities.
