Baia di Crovani

Crovani Bay

Crovani Bay is a very charming place in northern Corsica. More precisely in the area of Galèria. Often mentioned in lists of the wildest itineraries of the coast, this bay is very popular with tourists who confirm its great attraction.

Mooring is quite safe, obviously corresponding to moderate weather. If you decide to bring your boat to this place, it is fair to be aware that the area presents itself as a natural site with an unspoiled and somewhat wild appearance. The beach consists of a wide pebble placed in a very steep surface. Therefore, it is advisable to be very careful when deciding to reach it, especially with children present.

Boats that travel the stretch between Calvi and Galèria are often driven to visit Crovani Bay. Thanks also to the presence of numerous archaeological works in the area, which see their origin in an old abandoned mine. An aspect of great interest, these constructions invite many tourists to visit the site.

Not predisposed to mass tourism, the beach sees the presence of Camping la Morsetta in which it is possible to have a restaurant service. Otherwise, the site remains wild and unprepared for major beach activities.

Many pleasure boats that pass through the area take advantage to moor in the bay for the sole purpose of exploring its features and the beauty of the sea. Stops that often last a few days and a few hours, giving the area a fair amount of passage by sea but keeping the coast and beach mostly deserted.

Crovani Bay is a fascinating natural site in the style of the northern part of Corsica. A place where much of the coast is unspoiled. Those who decide to moor their boat in its sea possess great propensity forexploration while seeking relaxation and silence.
