Cupabia Beach
Cupabia Bay is one of the most beautiful anchorages in the area near Coti Chiavari. More precisely in southern Corsica. Just near Porto Pollo, many boats choose to visit the beach for two reasons.
The first is undoubtedly the Caribbean beauty of the beach. The second reason is that especially during peak season, the adjacent ports see an overcrowding of boats, prompting boats to find berths in more secluded areas.
The beach is characterized by very fine, white sand. Not to mention the turquoise sea that by many is compared, precisely, to the famous Caribbean Sea. The anchorage is almost unknown, but with its mistral shelter it can offer an excellent mooring point for pleasure boats that choose Cupabia as a tourist and beach destination.
The site, in fact, is very popular with tourists. Especially for the recreational activities, often offered by the region. In addition, the shallow seabed and very large dry bath set up well for the vacation of families with children.
Sheltered from mass tourism, this beach is appreciated by those boaters who seek splendid sea views accompanied by a proportionate dose of tranquility and beach activities. The beach is very wide, offering great walks.
Precisely because of the large area of shallow water, boats can moor in the area bounded by buoys but without going as far as the shore. Or, take advantage of the docking at Porto Pollo to reach the site by car in a time of 15 to 20 minutes.
Cupabia Bay is a wonderful anchorage suitable for recreation and is well suited for those travelers who want to escape the mass tourism of the high seasons. Boats can enjoy an excellent sheltered shelter from the mistral, guaranteeing relaxation and ample stopping area in a site with a tropical profile.
