Rada di Macinaggio

Boating in Macinaggio – Anchorage at anchorages

Think of Corsica and images of unspoiled nature, crystal-clear sea, freedom to sail in a sea with unique features flow. The anchorage of Macinaggio is considered one of the pearls of Corsica, thanks to its sea with Caribbean features for the clarity and tranquility of its waters. Sandy bottom, once you get ashore you realize how fine and white the sand of the local beaches is.

For the more athletically inclined, there are several boat clubs nearby that organize windsurfing, kyak and other water sports, as well as shore excursions, perhaps on horseback on the Customs Trail.

When the port of macinaggio is saturated, it is possible to anchor your boat in the anchorage in front of the harbor entrance (located at the end of the Cap Corse). You anchor on a good sandy bottom at depths that vary depending on the distance from the beach. Pay attention to strong winds from the NE to the east.
