The Brbinj anchorage is located in an inlet in the northern part of the island Dugi Otok, Italian for Long Island. For those wishing to visit the islands of the Zadar Archipelago and Kornati National Park, it is the safest and most convenientlanding place as there are many buoys both to the north and south.
This bay is very wide, and there are many ships that stop here especially in the evening, partly because of the particularly renowned seaside restaurants.
At the small pier in the town of Brbinj opposite the anchorage, a ferry departs, connecting the island with Zadar. Here the yachtsman finds a pier with about 8 moorings and can get both water and electricity.
