Bays of Croatia where to anchor the boat
In the southern part ofKornat Island, the largest of the islands that make up Kornate National Park, is Opat anchorage, a wide inlet in which there are numerous buoys.
There are also two restaurants that overlook the sea and have as many piers with dead bodies and electricity service.
Be careful The restaurants provide moorings for those who want to dock, but it is best to land at the bow despite the locals’ directions, as although the length of the seabed is listed as 3m, in reality, it barely reaches 1.5m in some areas. Be careful to arrive in the area with a full tank as there are no fueling stations.
The Opat anchorage is one of 9 areas in the National Park where it is possible to dive outside of organized groups. To enter the anchorages, however, you must pay the Park entrance fee.
