Potkucina Bay is an anchorage located in front of Kaprije, one of the largest islands in the Sibenik archipelago. Crystal clear sea, clean air, the bay is reminiscent of a little piece of paradise for sailors who like to seek the best of the Adriatic Sea. Surrounded by silence it turns out to be ideal for appreciating sea and nature, as well as wanting some excellent local fish and wine in case one is interested in getting to know the islanders.
Buoys are chargeable. The area is generally very crowded and frequented by charters. Instructions for those who want to stop inside with their boats turn out to be accurate because of the instructions issued by the collector.
Mooring service is possible only with prior reservation.
Not far away (about 40 minutes of the journey), we find the town of Sibenik, which certainly offers an excuse to go ashore and appreciate Dalmatian cultural heritage.
