Ustrine

Anchorages at anchorages on the island of Cres – Croatia

On the island of Cres near the village of Ustrine, an ancient Roman settlement where valuable ruins can be visited, is the bay of the same name, formed by small beaches and a deep inlet facing north and well protected from the bora wind.

Here the 3m sandy bottom allows easy anchoring suitable for a prolonged stop. In the small beach in front in the eastern shore, you can bring a line and land, and in case of a sirocco, better to move to the southern part of the bay.

From this inlet, it is possible to wait for the opening of the Osor Canal (9 a.m. to 5 p.m.)
