Arc. di La Maddalena – Cala Zerri – Isola di Barrettini

Berrettini Island

The northern area of Berrettini Island shale and flattened, unlike the southern part, which is granitic and much more rugged. A singular morphological feature.
The two parts are joined by a low isthmus, and when submerged by waves, two distinct islets are created and of different appearance.

Cala Zerri is centrally located on Barrettini Island, along the east coast.

Useful information for boaters

  • Cala Zerri
You can anchor in about 4 meters, on sand.

The anchorage is very exposed to easterly winds.
  • Cala d’Acqua
Located on the western side of the island.
It is very exposed to westerly winds but well sheltered from the sirocco.
Gives bottom on 5 meters of sand.
