Arc. di La Maddalena – Cala Garibaldi – Isola di Caprera

Sardinia’s anchorages and anchorages for recreation

Transparent, crystal-clear waters and a clear golden beach: the beach of Cala Garibaldi (once used by the famous condottiero of the same name as a private berth for his sailboats) is located along the west coast of the island of Caprera and faces difront of the island of Giardinelli and the three Italian Islets.

The tourist beach is organized to offer a wide range of services, such as hotel and bar restaurant.

It is a popular destination for sea lovers fond of wind surfing and scuba diving.

Quay / Wharf of Cala Garibaldi

The cove is a natural inlet that is well sheltered from all winds except northern winds. However, it offers good shelter for anchorages in the anchorage.
Access to the harbor for boats is allowed only limited to the time necessary for embarkation/disembarkation at the jetty.
It is possible to moor s ESE of the south islet.
