Cala Pira is a beautiful cove located in what is called one of the most beautiful stretches of Sardinia’s coastline. Much frequented by boats that like to travel the seas that wash the coastline of the scenic route, the beach is part of the Costa Rei territory. This stretch of the Villasimius resort is among the most beautiful on the coast and offers crystal-clear glimpses of the sea.
The seabed is sandy, almost Caribbean white and gives the water surface an unreal cherubic color as beautiful as it is. Even, in some areas of the seabed, the sand possesses a pink color that reverberates with the reflection of light on the surface of the water.
The sugary inlet possesses great tourist and bathing activity. Although it is a destination for pleasure boats seeking moorings in its waters, the inlet does not grant the possibility of going too deep. This is because of the presence of the floating lines placed, rightly, for the safety of bathers.
The beach offers primary services. A small parking lot for those reaching the area from the inland dirt road. Campground and bar with accessibility for the disabled.
The cove is popular with families who like to travel by boat, due in part to the very shallow waters of the beach that lend themselves safely to children’s play. The mooring area is ideal for no more than forty boats. Despite being a beloved destination during peak season, the area remains livable and hardly prone to crowding.
Thanks to the often present mistral, the anchorage offers excellent conditions and livability, with great preference for those who wish to anchor in calm seas in search of relaxation.
Cala Pira is a cove in Sardinia that abandons the playful concept of unbridled tourist life. It is arranged for pleasure boats looking for a quiet place to enjoy unforgettable sea and bathing tranquility suitable for the whole family.
