Cala del Ceppo is the ideal anchorage at Capraia Island. Positioned on the east coast after rounding the tip of Civitata, it surprises with its landscapes of a Tuscany beautiful enough to seem surreal.
From the green outline of the mountains to the bright, transparent blue of the sea, Cala del Ceppo is appreciated both by the raptors often hovering above the coast and the fish that enrich these clean waters.
The seabed is deep and, thanks to the very clear sand and crystal clear water, the visibility is perfect for dropping anchor and getting lost in this sea set in a wild and natural environment.
Ideal for sailing at times precisely because of this wild side of it, it is windswept: if the libeccio rises the anchorage is no longer safe and the anchorage can ship itself, the advice is to give more line to stay anchored.
In case of winds coming from the third quadrant, it is recommended to take shelter in the nearby Marina di Capraia
