Golfo di Follonica – Cala Violina

Anchorages at anchorages in Tuscany: Cala Violina

A coveted destination for many boaters who like to drop the boat’s anchor in such a bay, the enchanting cove, enclosed by two promontories, is located in the Maremma area of Grosseto, immersed in the Bandite di Scarlino Nature Reserve, and is considered the most beautiful cove in all of Tuscany (already awarded as one of the most beautiful beaches in all of Italy).
A coveted tourist and balnere destination, it consists of crystal-clear waters and the whitest sands.

The area is exposed to cold septentrional winds, but still well protected.
During weekends the bay turns out to be very crowded, both from beach tourism and from anchorages boats.
Anchorage is on sandy bottom.
