Columbus Tomahawk 52 M: potenza e spazi extra large

Il nome riprende quello dell’ascia da battaglia dei nativi d’America, ma il Tomahawk è un explorer vessel decisamente originale. Marco Casali – che ha curato il design insieme all’ufficio tecnico di Palumbo Group – ha pensato questo primo concept di 499 GT come una nave per valori tecnici e di tenuta al mare servendosi della ricerca navale di Insenaval.

Columbus Tomahawk 52 Explorer Vessel La prua – “come un’ascia” – è studiata per  un favorevole e “tagliente” impatto con il mare, e richiama – allo stesso tempo – la forza e il profilo di questa antica\ e solida arma.

Il Tomahawk è un concept che potrà essere sviluppato in misure da 40 a 100 metri: un full custom in grado di rispondere a tutti i desideri del proprietario.

Il design e gli spazi di bordo sono quelli di un lussuosissimo superyacht ovviamente. Nelle aree a bordo si trova il comfort di aree uniche, sia per la posizione che per dimensione.

I volumi sono infatti extra large, a partire dalla beach area che si estende su tre livelli per 200 mq. Il ponte a poppa dà direttamente sul mare con la possibilità di ospitare fino a 2x12mt tender. 4 jet sky e un sottomarino o più moto d’acqua possono essere stivati nel garage sottostante con gommoni e toys. Un garage di prua dà spazio a un tender supplementare e vari giochi d’acqua.

La gru per tender e sottomarini è studiata anche per mantenere sollevato un ombrellone per far ombra alla zona della spiaggia, qui configurata con la piscina.

Completamente libera, l’area rivela una grande piscina (6×2,5 m) a tutta altezza e con uno spazio che potrebbe ospitare 3/4 di un campo da basket (9x7m). Questa zona potrebbe essere chiaramente gestita con tavoli free standing, prendisole e divano o potrebbe essere un grande parco giochi.

La gru per tender e sottomarini è studiata anche per mantenere sollevato un ombrellone per far ombra a una grande parte della zona della spiaggia.

Marco Casali si sofferma sugli spazi interni:” Il Tomahawk è concepito come uno yacht all’interno di una nave per le sue caratteristiche di comfort di bordo. La cabina armatoriale (75mq) si trova direttamente a prua con finestre anteriori, di fronte a una terrazza privata di 21 mq con tavolo prendisole e vasca idromassaggio. Il tutto con vista completa per 180 gradi e totale privacy. La zona ospiti nel ponte inferiore è collegata direttamente alla gym-spa area beach club con finestrature che si affacciano sul beach club. Gli ospiti e il proprietario possono raggiungere direttamente la spiaggia, la piscina e il mare senza passare attraverso i saloni. Una sala da pranzo esclusiva si trova a prua con un American bar e uno spazio cinema/karaoke. Anche la zona equipaggio è più grande rispetto agli standard comuni, incentrandosi sulla qualità dello spazio“.

Tra le altre caratteristiche,  anche l’opportunità di ospitare un eliporto compatibile MCA nel ponte superiore, con accesso diretto alle scale principali, insieme a una cabina pilotaggio allargata studiata specificatamente per una perfetta visibilità durante l’ormeggio e la navigazione in qualsiasi area.
