Confermato il Cannes Yachting Festival dopo l’annullamento della kermesse di Monte Carloย ย ย
Stavolta nessun colpo di scena, ma tutto come previsto. E questa รจ una bellissima notizia. Lo Yachting Festival di Cannes รจ confermato e si terrร dall’8 al 13 settembre al Vieux Port (foto in basso a sinistra)ย e al Port Canto (foto in basso a destra) della celebre cittร della Costa Azzurra.
Una bellissima notizia, dicevamo, che arriva una settimana dopo l’inatteso annullamento del Monaco Yacht Show, rinviato al 2021 per motivi logistici inevitabilmente connessi all’emergenza pandemica. Il timore che anche la kermesse di Cannes potesse saltare a causa del Coronavirus era quindi lecito.
Invece la rassegna che ogni anno apre ufficialmente la stagione dei saloni nautici internazionali si svolgerร come da calendario, anche se il via libera รจ stato ottenuto non senza poche perplessitร .
“Dopo lunghe settimane di incertezza dovuta al contesto, di intense discussioni con i nostri clienti, la cittร di Cannes, i nostri partner e fornitori, e di assiduo lavoro con le autoritร locali, siamo lieti e fieri di entrare in dirittura dโarrivo prima dellโapertura del Festival – ha spiegato Sylvie Ernoult, direttrice del Cannes Yachting Festival – La parola chiave di questโanno รจ ‘adattamento’. Infatti, abbiamo adeguato il formato del salone e la sua offerta per rispondere ancora di piรน alle esigenze dei nostri espositori in termini di spazio e di restrizioni finanziarie, nonchรฉ per rispettare le nuove norme sanitarie“.
Confermato il Cannes Yachting Festival nel rispetto dei protocolli sanitari
A proposito di protocolli anti-Covid, le imbarcazioni (340 a motore e 80 a vela, escluso il blokerage) e gli stand saranno collocati in conformitร con il Piano Generale di Sicurezza Sanitaria (PGSS), stabilito dallo Yachting Festival e presentato alla prefettura, al comune di Cannes e ai fornitori.
Il piano, dichiara lo staff, si basa sulle misure sanitarie consigliate dallโUNIMEV (federazione francese specializzata nel settore delle manifestazioni) e illustrate al governo, nonchรฉ sulle raccomandazioni incluse nel programma di riferimento che il gruppo Reed Exhibitions ha elaborato per tutti i suoi saloni a livello mondiale.
Il PGSS, che dovrร essere certificato nei prossimi giorni da un organismo indipendente riconosciuto, mira a garantire il rispetto degli standard sanitari in vigore per preservare la salute di tutte le persone presenti allโinterno dellโarea espositiva.
ร stato inoltre nominato un referente con la missione di controllare la corretta attuazione del protocollo sanitario sia prima che durante il salone. Questo protocollo prevede la gestione dei flussi, la riprogettazione degli ingressi del salone, la distribuzione di gel idroalcolico, lโuso di mascherine e la pulizia costante delle aree comuni, e sarร ovviamente modificato a tempo debito in base alle misure che il governo francese decreterร in merito agli eventi fieristici.
Come l’anno scorso, il Vieux Port ospiterร le imbarcazioni a motore, mentre le barche a vela saranno ormeggiate nell’Espace Voile del Port Canto.
Insomma, tutto รจ pronto per accogliere l’edizione 2020 del Cannes Yachting Festival: dopo il forfait di Monaco, per gli appassionati di nautica una notizia cosรฌ ci voleva. E noi di The International Yachting Media non mancheremo!
