D’Alì e Brenco, il team vincente della “Corsica per due”

Stamattina, alle ore 11.18, Pietro D’Alì e Carlo Brenco hanno vinto la regata “Corsica per Due”, tagliando il traguardo al Tigullio a bordo di Bet1128, di proprietà di Gaetano Mura.
Nonostante le condizioni meteo non favorevoli che hanno spinto due avversari al ritiro e la prolungata assenza di vento, D’Alì e Brenco sono riusciti a tenere a distanza gli altri concorrenti per buona parte della gara.
Anche il saper rischiare intelligentemente ha avuto la sua importanza, come ha dichiarato lo stesso D’Alì: “Ieri sera al tramonto siamo stati coraggiosi a uscire fuori dalla Giraglia: quando siamo usciti dal cono dell’isola abbiamo trovato il vento buono.Una scelta che ci ha premiato. Ci siamo divertiti molto e la barca è stata meravigliosa”.

E Gaetano Mura, pienamente soddisfatto di aver affidato il suo Class 40 a D’Alì, ha dichiarato: ” Affidare a Pietro la barca è come se Nadal ti chiedesse la racchetta in prestito per un torneo: non può che restituirtela più accordata di prima”.
Anche per Carlo Brenco la gioia per aver navigato con lo skipper milanese è tanta: “Pietro è eccezionale, ma lo sanno tutti”.
Per i due skipper però adesso non c’è tempo per riposare: ad aspettarli a Sanremo il 16 maggio ci sarà la seconda frazione del ” J/70 Alcatel Onetouch Italian Thropy“, che li vedrà avversari.

La regata “Corsica per due” aveva avuto inizio il 9 maggio dal Tigullio, sviluppandosi poi in un percorso di circa 400 miglia.
