Gli italiani, dal punto di vista della progettazione e costruzione, hanno da insegnare al mondo come si fanno le barche. Dal punto di vista della cultura del mare e della diffusione della vela come costume popolare, purtroppo siamo fanalino di coda, dietro paesi come la vicina Francia e l’Inghilterra, doveย la vela viene insegnata nelle scuole dell’obbligo. Quindi, anche solo la nomination da parte di un periodico inglese per concorrere al titolo di “Best performance cruiserโ 2017, ha di per se il valore di un riconoscimento importante.
La rivista inglese รจ ilย Sailing Today,ย che proprio questโanno celebra il suo 20esimo anniversario, ย e la barca indicata come possibile vincitrice delย Sailing Today Awards 2017 nella categoria โBest performance cruiserโ รจ l’ICE 52.
Un riconoscimento che arriva a poco piรน di un mese dall’assegnazione del premioย Asia Marine & Boating Awards 2017 nella categoriaย “Yacht a vela sopra i 45 piedi”, attribuito quest’anno ad ICE Yacht.
La nomination dell’ICE 52 colloca la barca nella rosa di scafi votabili on line direttamente sul sito di Sailing Today,ย dal 21 al 31 di agosto. ย I vincitori verranno poi annunciati durante il Southampton Boat Show, la kermesse internazionale che si terrร dal 15 al 24 settembre prossimi, nellโomonima cittadina inglese e che vedrร presente il meglio dellโindustria nautica mondiale.
Non รจ un caso che ICE Yachts salga alla ribalta in ambito internazionale. Da quando il cantiere รจ stato rilevato da Marco Malgara, la produzione si รจ orientata su linee molto decise: uso di materiali compositi e alta tecnologia coniugati con la tradizione dell’artigianato italiano.
D’altra parte, il cantiere che sorge nel cuore della Pianura Padana, a Salvirola, eredita alla sua nascita le esperienze condotte per anni daย CN Yacht 2000, alla cui chiusura subentra ICE Yachts assorbendo gran parte delle figure piรน specializzate nella lavorazione di materiali compositi.
Nasce da questi saperi e dalle innovazioni introdotte dalla nuova proprietร , la linea di produzione che in questi 4 anni ha visto nascere tutte le barche di successo del cantiere, dallโIce 33, al 52 e 52R, fino al 60 e al 100 piedi.
Scafi performanti, capaci di farsi onore sui campi di regata, ma anche destinati a una clientela che ama la crociera d’altura condotta nel comfort e nella sicurezza. Una clientela internazionale, che arriva nella provincia di Cremona a cercare un preciso tipo di barca, da Hong Kong a Cittร del Messico, dal Nord Europa agli Stati Uniti.
