Dopo Xhibitionist, le menti visionarie di Gray Design ci hanno preso gusto e si sono lanciati in un altro progetto, da prendere a cuor leggero dicono loro stessi, che esplora i confini dello yacht design. E hanno scelto un nome mitologico: Kraken, la mitica piovra di 200 piedi (60 metri), esattamente la stessa lunghezza dello yacht che ne porta il nome, che compare nei racconti mitologici dei paesi scandinavi, nelle raccolte naturalistiche medievali e persino in Moby Dick.

E forse, al pari del mostro marino, non vedremo mai Kraken dal vivo, perchรจ si parla  davvero di un progetto avveniristico e dai costi stratosferici. รˆ lungo 200 piedi, dicevamo, e proprio come Xhibitionist ha la macchina en pendant. Il design perรฒ รจ molto piรน spigoloso, e ricorda quello degli aerei da guerra supermoderni. Le rifiniture di colore rosso vivo aumentano l’aggressivitร  giร  evidente delle linee e davvero fanno pensare a un mostro marino.

Kraken avrร  due scafi, e una postazione di guida super panoramica sul piรน alto dei quattro ponti.

Superveloce, ovviamente (35 nodi di velocitร  massima), e superlussuoso, con scale scenografiche, lampadari di cristallo e qualsiasi altra cosa vi possa venire in mente.
