LightHouse 4, disponibile l’aggiornamento del sistema operativo Raymarine

È disponibile per il download LightHouse 4, l’aggiornamento del sistema operativo di Raymarine con cui l’azienda britannica continua l’implementazione delle sue tecnologie per la navigazione. Dopo avere presentato alla stampa il suo pacchetto completo di tecnologie per la “smart boat”, Raymarine ha lanciato nei giorni scorsi l’aggiornamento del suo ormai consolidato sistema operativo, appositamente studiata per i display multifunzione Axiom, Axiom+, Axiom Pro e Axiom XL.

Tra le novità di LightHouse 4 ci sono la nuova grafica, con una definizione e una semplicità d’uso ancora maggiori rispetto alle precedenti versioni, nonché una serie di potenti nuove funzionalità e aggiornamenti per migliorare il tempo trascorso a bordo. Con una visualizzazione di molto perfezionata e i menu delle applicazioni aggiornati, le innovazioni grafiche di LightHouse 4 sono notevoli, così come i nuovi widget nella schermata home che permettono di tenere sotto controllo tutti i dati di maggiore interesse in una sola, pratica interfaccia.

Molto importanti sono poi gli aggiornamenti dell’app Mercury VesselView, che comprendono i controlli attivi dello scarico, la nuova visualizzazione dati e i miglioramenti alla diagnostica del motore. Infine, Raymarine ha implementato il supporto per l’ultima edizione delle carte raster Imray.

lighthouse 4Oltre alle nuove funzionalità appena descritte, Raymarine ha inoltre lavorato su una serie di miglioramenti del software, che comprendono i waypoint e le rotte attive, ora maggiormente in risalto per una migliore interpretazione negli specchi d’acqua trafficati; il pulsante “Uomo a mare“, ora più visibile e più facilmente raggiungibile sulla schermata home; i simboli e gli allarmi per i pesci, ora disponibili sui sistemi CP370, CP470 e CP570; il supporto per il controllo del volume audio multi-zona per JL Audio e Rockford Fosgate; i nuovi comandi per la funzione Relief Shading ad alta risoluzione (funzione Platinum+) e per accedere a Sonar Chart Live senza un abbonamento e infine il supporto per il router marinizzato YachtSense Link.

LightHouse 4 è disponibile solo sui modelli di display multifunzione Axiom, Axiom+, Axiom Pro e Axiom XL di Raymarine. Gli utenti che già utilizzavano LightHouse possono fare l’aggiornamento direttamente da un display Axiom collegato via wi-fi oppure scaricare LightHouse 4 dal sito di Raymarine, metterlo su una scheda microSD e trasferirlo su Axiom tramite l’apposito slot.
