Lowrance, ecco i fishfinder di ultima generazione

Novità in casa Lowrance nel settore dei fishfinder/chartplotter. Il brand, proprietà di Navico, ha infatti lanciato due nuove serie di strumenti, la Elite Ti e la serie HOOK.

La prima comprende i fishfinder/chartplotter touch-screen Elie-5 e Elite-7 Ti.

Con un’interfaccia touch-screen, connettività Bluetooth e wireless, la tecnologia di navigazione Lowrance e un sonar high-performance che include il CHIRP sonar, questi strumenti sono destinati ai pescatori che vogliono avere una visuale completa al di sotto dell’imbarcazione.

La tecnologia CHIRP sonar garantisce infatti una migliore separazione del bersaglio e chiarezza dello schermo, mentre il sistema integrato di rilevazione immagini sonar di StructureScan HD di Lowrance fornisce immagini fotografiche delle strutture che nascondono i pesci da entrambi i lati della barca e al di sotto di essa.

I modelli disponibili sono da 5 o 7 pollici ed entrambe le versioni presentano un’antenna GPS integrata ad alta precisione che mostra la posizione su una dettagliata basemap U.S., con oltre 3000 laghi e fiumi e dettagli dei profili costieri fino a 300 m (1.000ft).

Grazie alla connettività wireless integrata, i modelli Elite Ti possono lavorare direttamente con GoFree shop per il download di aggiornamenti software e cartografici. Elite Ti è inoltre compatibile con il servizio di creazione mappe di Insight Genesis, che consente agli utenti di creare carte batimetriche personalizzate ad alta risoluzione utilizzando i log sonar registrati oltre alla funzionalità di condivisione delle carte con la community di Insight Genesis Social Map.

Un display touch-screen con retroilluminazione LED offre accesso rapido a tutte le funzioni di navigazione e fishfinding. Per esempio, con la funzionalità TrackBack, i pescatori possono rivedere lo storico registrato sul display sonar e navigare così con facilità verso una specifica area di pesca, usando la visualizzazione chartplotter.

Elite 5 sarà disponibile per marzo 2016 al prezzo di 599 euro Iva esclusa, mentre Elite 7 è disponibile sin da ora al prezzo di 749 euro sempre Iva esclusa.

La serie di fishfinder HOOK mette a disposizione modelli di fishfinder/chartplotter con schermi da 4, 5, 7 e 9 pollici, e tutti i modelli Lowrance HOOK presentano il CHIRP Sonar, che abbiamo illustrato per la serie Elite. E non è l’unica similitudine fra le due serie. Anche i modelli della HOOK infatti, nella maggior parte dei casi, dispongono del DownScan Imaging che permette ai pescatori di avere una visione anche fotografica delle strutture che nascondono i pesci.

Dotati di un menù di facile e intuitivo utilizzo e un display Led a colori retroilluminato e visibile nitidamente al sole, i modelli HOOK possono contare sul sistema Advanced Signal Processing (ASP) di Lowrance che fornisce una separazione del bersaglio e una riduzione del disturbo, in modo da identificare più facilmente esca e pesci-obiettivo.

Le caratteristiche dell’antenna GPS e delle mappe e delle funzioni di upgrade e di integrazione con i processi di integrazione con le community map sono le stesse di quelle della serie Elite.

 

I modelli HOOK 4- e 5 pollici sono anche disponibili nelle versioni Ice Machine i cui pacchetti sono dotati di un trasduttore per pesca su ghiaccio personalizzato e di un sistema di galleggiamento unico, con custodia morbida impermeabile che presenta un’apertura zip frontale e posteriore facile da individuare.
