MERCURY 200 V6: lo abbiamo provato sul nuovo Antudo 23

Mercury 200 V6 e Antudo 23: la prova in mare. 

Che Mercury sia il leader incontrastato del mercato dei motori fuoribordo è cosa ormai nota. Troppo spesso però si parla solo delle grandi potenze che, se da un lato ci mostrano il massimo stadio evolutivo della specie, dall’altro non  rappresentano di certo lo spaccato del mercato che, in termini di numeri, vede impiegata una grandissima quantità di motori fuoribordo di media e bassa potenza. 

Ed è proprio per colmare questa lacuna che ci siamo recati a Sestri Levante, per provare uno dei migliori rappresentanti della classe delle medie potenze: si chiama Mercury FourStroke 200, è un V6 e per l’occasione era installato sul nuovissimo ANTUDO 23, una delle ultime novità del mercato.

Prova in mare

Arrivando sul pontile trovo Valerio che mi accoglie sul nuovo gommone ANTUDO 23, un’imbarcazione di 6,97 metri, un mix perfetto di lusso ed efficienza equipaggiato con motore d’eccezione il MERCURY 200 V6. Antudo Marine è di proprietà di Katech Srl, una società che nasce, innanzitutto, come studio di ingegneria integrata con particolare attenzione alla ricerca e sviluppo di soluzioni innovative nei settori energetico, dell’edilizia, delle infrastrutture autostradali, e, dal 2022, nautico. ANTUDO 23 è un battello innovativo che nasce dalla collaborazione del cantiere con Alessandro Chessa di Akesdesign, l’obiettivo del progetto era quello di proporre un gommone elegante ed iconico, caratteriszzato da spiccate doti marine.

Usciamo dalla baia di Sestri Levante a velocità ridotta, il motore fuoribordo è molto silenzioso e la carena, anche a basse velocità è stabile nonostante il mare di oggi presenti un’onda incrociata molto fastidiosa.

La posizione di guida è confortevole e, grazie al sedile che presenta due parafianchi molto avvolgenti, mi sento protetto. Spingo sulla manetta per trovare un assetto corretto, in pochissimo tempo stiamo già navigando a 13 nodi a 2800 giri motore, con un consumo di 15 l/h. A questa velocità siamo in planata, i tubolari lavorano molto bene sulle onde di traversia, ma è aumentando la velocità che troviamo l’assetto migliore, con la carena che lavora ancora meglio.

A 4000 giri il motore comincia a farci apprezzare la sua potenza, leggo 25 nodi, i consumi sono saliti a 27 L/h, alleggerisco la prua dando un po’ di trim, questa è la velocità di crociera. Ma chiaramente siamo qui per provare questo MERCURY 200 V6 e quindi accellero ancora.

L’opera viva sta lavorando bene, mi porto a 5000 giri, l’assetto è perfetto, il motore spinge il gommone a 35 nodi. Faccio una virata per capire la stabilità dell’imbarcazione, i tubolari si appoggiano e tengono il gommone in assetto. Mi porto al massimo per capire quanto questo MERCURY 200 V6 è ancora in grado di darmi.

 Passo dai 35 nodi a 40 nodi in un attimo, 5800 giri, consumi 67 l/h, l’onda si fa sentire ma stiamo praticamente volando sull’acqua. Davvero un ottimo binomio questo ANTUDO 23 con il MERCURY 200 V6.
