Ha preso in parola il concetto dei buoni propositi per il nuovo anno Mercury Marine, che ha iniziato il 2018 con la presentazione ufficiale sul mercato dell’upgrade della sua piattaforma VesselView, progettata nell’ultima parte dello scorso anno.
Il Boot Dusseldorf ha permesso di mostrare ufficialmente al pubblico europeo il VesselView 903, il display multifunzione piรน avanzato finora creato dall’azienda. L’area di novitร proseguirร poi con il lancio del 403, previsto per il prossimo futuro. Una doppia novitร che conferma l’intenzione di continuare a lavorare sui propri prodotti per integrare le ultime tecnologie per il settore nautico.
Ilย VesselView 903 nasce come evoluzione del 703, presentato al Miami International Boat Show del 2017.ย Il touch screen in 16:9 รจ costruito con rivestimento antiriflesso e ha una luminositร regolabile per un migliore adattamento alla visibilitร in mare.
Le novitร tecnologiche rispetto al precedente modello permettono di sfruttare al meglio le caratteristiche degli accessori Simrad della gamma G09: radar, trasduttori sonar, trasduttori Fish Finder, AIS, VHF, Sonic Hub/Fusion Link/SiriusXM, sistema di commutazione digitale C-Zone/Naviop e altre opzioni per facilitare la navigazione.
Il dispositivo contiene inoltre una funzione di GPS da 10 Hz, e puรฒ essere utilizzato con i plotter cartografici. L’interfaccia touch screen รจ stata studiata per aiutare i navigatori meno esperti e con minore confidenza con i mezzi tecnologici. Per chi non si trova comodo con il touch, รจ disponibile un telecomando con pulsanti come optional. Integrato al sistema un dispositivo WiFi, che permette gli aggiornamenti del software.
VesselView 903 รจ stato progettato anche per fornire assistenza sul motore, monitorando diversi parametri e visualizzando le descrizioni dei guasti. In un unico schermo il diportista potrร cosรฌ controllare il livello del carburante e l’autonomia residua, cosรฌ come temperatura e pressione dell’olio, carica della batteria, livello di profonditร dell’acqua ed efficienza del gruppo elettronico.
Mercury Marine ha deciso di rendere il prodotto il piรน internazionale possibile, con 16 lingue supportate e tante possibili conversioni di unitร . In vendita dallo scorso dicembre, con il Boot Dusseldorf ha ricevuto il proprio battesimo.
Il responsabile del programma VesselView Zachary Savage ha spiegato l’obiettivo del progetto: “La nostra tecnologia di nuova generazione permette ai diportisti di visualizzare simultaneamente informazioni su un massimo di quattro motori contando su un’interfaccia touch screen semplice da utilizzare”.
Il VesselView 403 prendeย invece il posto del 4, aggiungendo alcune funzionalitร . Il modello comprende infatti un’interfaccia Active Trim, che permette di fare a meno del dash pad con cui veniva controllato il precedente display.
Il VesselView 403 รจ a sua volta compatibile con tutte le tecnologie SmartCraft di Mercury Marine, e puรฒ mostrare i dati di due motori contemporaneamente. Il suo lancio sul mercato, come anticipato in apertura, รจ imminente.
