Prende il via, questa mattina, la 77esima edizione di uno dei saloni nautici piรน spettacolari del mondo. Spettacolaritร dovuta un po’ alle location, un poโ alla tipologia di barche, dai megayacht alle barche velocissime qui ospitate, e un poโ al fascino fascino suscitato dalla cittร che lo ospita.
Insomma, il “salone nautico di Miami”, anche questโanno promette di essere uno dei grandi eventi della nautica mondiale. E noi di The International Yachting Media, siamo sbarcati a Miami Beach in tempo per raccontarvi la manifestazione, descrivendovi le barche che attireranno maggiormente la nostra attenzione. Intanto fissiamo le date: iniziato questa mattina, il salone chiuderร i battenti il prossimo 19 febbraio. Due i saloni e tre le aree dedicate alla kermesse.
La prima, quella del Miami Yacht Show, รจ quella di Collins Avenue, dove centinaia di yacht e superyacht provenienti da tutto il mondo saranno esposti lungo le banchine del canale che costeggia la lunghissima arteria della cittร americana.
Quindi la grande area del Miami Boat Show, situato al Marine Stadium, che potremmo definire la zona della nautica piรน popolare, e per certi versi piรน spettacolare, dove sono esposte centinaia di barche a motore di piccole e medie dimensioni, oltre a una vasta area a terra dove sono organizzati gli stand che accolgono i produttori di ogni genere, dallโelettronica ai motori, dalla pesca allโabbigliamento.
Ed infine la zonaย piรน piccola, quella dedicata alla vela. Lo Strictly Sail รจ infatti collocato nella minuscola darsena di Virginia Key, a Bayside, praticamente nel cuore di Down Town.
Le novitร in acqua
Per quanto riguarda le imbarcazioni, sono presenti tutti i magggiori marchi del mondo. A partire dai brand italiani, con il Gruppo Benetti, che presenterร in anteprima mondiale il Mediterraneo 116, e il Gruppo Ferretti che avrร in esposizione, fra le sue barche, il maestoso Ferretti Yacht 920, oppure Absolute Yachts che, per l’occasione porta, per la prima volta in america, la pluripremiata Navetta 73.
Il salone di Miami รจ il palcoscenico naturale di tutta la produzione nautica americana. E sin da oggi, ne siamo sicuri, una delle barche che attrarrร maggiormente lโattenzione del pubblico, sarร il Cigarette Racing 515, ispirato alla serie Amg della Mercedes e di cui, fino a questa mattina, si conoscevano solo i disegni.
Sarร poi la volta di Cris Craft, che lancerร in anteprima mondiale il Launch 28 GT, e di Boston Whaler, che ha atteso Miami per la presentazione di tre modelli, il 380 Realm, e i Mountak 190 e 210. Sono questi solo alcuni dei brand a rappresentanza delle centinaia di produttori presenti con circa 1500 barche esposte, in acqua e a secco.
Piรน ridotta la presenza delle imbarcazioni a vela, con circa 30 cantieri presenti nella darsena do Bayside. Stando alle comunicazioni ufficiali dellโorganizzazione, lโunico cantiere italiano presente sarร Cantiere del Pardo, mentre รจ confermata la presenza dei grandi marchi francesi, Bรฉnรฉteau e Jeanneau, Bavaria, Elan e Dufour. Non mancheranno i catamarani di Leopard e Lagoon e qualche bellโesemplare di storici marchi statunitensi come Catalina.
Per la cronaca, il biglietto intero costa 25 dollari ma chi volesse evitare la ressa del fine settimana e visitare il salone oggi, dovrร sborsarne ben 40. Tariffa Vip tutta speciale a 125 dollari, che oltre allโingresso, da diritto a consumare cibo e bevande nella sala vip e a partecipare in modo gratuito agli eventi previsti per la giornata dโapertura.
