Un mozzicone di sigaretta con filtro impiega, a seconda delle circostanze ambientali in cui si trova, da 5 12 anni per decomporsi, tenendo conto che รจ realizzato in buona parte con materiale chimico di sintesi. The Roach Tail รจ quindi una reale iniziativa per combattere in modo efficace lโinquinamento delle spiagge e degli oceani trasformando un dannoso rifiuto in materiale utilizzabile. Al di lร della sporcizia, i filtri di sigaretta sono pericolosi soprattutto per la fauna marina che puรฒ scambiarli per cibo e rimanerne soffocata. Lโiniziativa di Tayolor Lane si รจ aggiudicata il primo premio nellโedizione 2017 del Vissla Creators & Innovators Upcycle Contest.
