In casa Nautor’s Swan il nuovo anno è iniziato con il botto. Nel corso di una conferenza stampa virtuale, come si usa in questi tempi di Covid, il cantiere italo-finlandese ha presentato le tre grandi novità del 2021. Dopo lo Swan 98 rivelato la scorsa estate e il Club Swan 125 in dirittura di arrivo entro la prossima primavera, la Nautor prosegue nella produzione di maxi yacht lanciando i nuovi racer-cruiser Swan 88, ClubSwan 80 e Swan 120.

Non solo: “Stiamo inoltre lavorando a vari miglioramenti alla gamma Maxi, introducendo la propulsione elettrica ibrida e aggiornando i modelli esistenti per soddisfare i nuovi requisiti di emissioni previsti per il 2021”, ha dichiarato Giovanni Pomati, ceo di Nautor Group.

In attesa di apportare migliorie sempre più eco-friendly, ecco lo Swan 88 (lungo 26,54 metri e largo 6,72), un blue water cruiser di lusso altamente customizzabile e trasformabile in racer. “Si tratta di un’evoluzione dei modelli precedenti, ma per questo abbiamo fatto uno studio completo mirato all’equilibrio, alle prestazioni, alla posizione del rig e alla forma delle vele – ha spiegato Germàn Frers, che ha curato l’intero progetto – In base all’esito di questi studi, abbiamo concepito lo scafo”.  Il layout interno dello Swan 88 è stato affidato alla genovese Misa Poggi.

Il ClubSwan 80 (lungo 24,60 metri e largo 6), progettato da Juan K e realizzato da Persico Marine, è invece un racer puro dotato di chiglia basculante e canard, quindi votato alle regate, ideale per correre tra le boe ma anche in altura.

“Il ClubSwan 80 è nato per due motivi ben precisi – ha spiegato Enrico Chieffi, vicepresidente del gruppo Nautor –  il primo perché la nostra linea, che include già la presenza del 36 e del 50, oltre all’arrivo del 125, meritava un nuovo yacht di questo calibro, e il secondo perché sul fronte dei Maxi mancava uno yacht dalle prestazioni elevate come questo”.

Infine, tra le new entry del 2021, rimanendo nell’era Maxi, è stato svelato il concept dello Swan 120 (lungo 36,55 metri e largo 8,12), che porta ancora la firma in calce del designer argentino Frers. La nuova ammiraglia Nautor ha un layout raffinato e un’anima racing, è uno yacht agile e confortevole, e può vantare interni di assoluto prestigio targati Mark Whiteley Design.

La tuga, dalle dimensioni piuttosto ridotte, si arresta a poppa dell’albero, scelta strutturale che fa dello Swan 120 una barca squisitamente sportiva ed estremamente duttile, adatta sia a crociere classiche sia ai circuiti offshore. Nautor’s Swan cala il tris per un 2021 formato… maxi!
