Da nulla a tutto. Come spesso accade nel nostro Paese, concetti fondamentali come quello della sicurezza, si pretende che vengano affermati per decreto.
Non fa eccezione il caso della nuova cassetta di pronto soccorso per le imbarcazioni da diporto che navigano oltre le 12 miglia dalla costa prevista dal decreto del ministero della Salute del primo ottobre 2015 e entrato in vigore la scorsa settimana.
Secondo il ministero, sulle nostre barche รจ di vitale importanza la presenza di un pallone per rianimazione, un fonendoscopio, un sfigmomanometro (lo strumento per misurare la pressione), e ancora manuali, strumenti, fino a far crescere di volume e prezzo la vecchia cassetta.
Naturalmente il problema non รจ lโingombro nรฉ lo sarebbe il costo, se quei soldi finissero ad aumentare veramete la sicurezza medica a bordo. Ma che cosa ce ne facciamo di uno sfigmomanometro, che รจ una dotazione professionale, se non sappiamo utilizzarlo e se non abbiamo le competenze mediche per interpretare i valori che eventualmente riuscissimo a ricavare? Nulla. Oppure, peggio, qualche danno, se a qualcuno venisse in mente di trasformarsi in improvvistao medico di pronto soccorso.

Noi come centro studi abbiamo cercato di dissuadere il governo da questo provvedimento combattendo per tre anni per bloccarloโ.
Qualcosa di diverso si sarebbe potuto quindi fare per passare dalla vecchia cassetta a un kit medico utile? โCerto โ conferma Verna โ integrare con una dotazione decente la casetta, e quindi passare dalla logica dellโobbligo a quella del consiglio a seconda della distanza dalla costa. Insomma creare un kit medico base e kit integrativi da fornire insieme alla formazione per poterli utilizzareโ.
Una formazione che in termini piรน ampi potrebbe anche realizzarsi on line, con corsi certificati, e attravesro la rete dei circoli nautici per quegli aspetti che non possono essere affrontati da remoto.
Intanto se si vuole navigare oltre le 12 miglia si deve mettere mano al portafogli. Le cassette in commercio costano mediamente 250 euro.
E per capire chi ci guadagna immediatamente basta una semplice moltiplicazione. La cifra che dovranno sborsare i circa 100 mila possessori di imbarcazioni iscritte nei registry, balla intorno ai 25 milioni di euro, cui si aggiungono quelli che dovranno pagare gli armatori di pescherecci, navi da diporto, imbarcazioni destinate al charter (che devono integrare la cassetta con un pulsossimetro da 72 euro). Un affare milionario per le case farmaceutiche.
