Ne avevamo parlato già non molto tempo fa, ma vale la pena di dedicargli ancora un po’ di attenzione. Pershing ha infatti ha reso pubblici dei nuovi rendering del suo 140, futura ammiraglia della sua gamma, e le immagini sono tutte da gustare, a partire dalla nuova cattivissima prua.

Questa ammiraglia è fortemente innovativa, come è da sempre nel DNA del marchio” – ci ha dichiarato l’architetto Fulvio De Simoni, fondatore di Italprojects e firma di tutti i modelli Pershing sin dal 1985. “Al tempo stesso, abbiamo pensato a un cambiamento che fosse il meno invasivo possibile, salvaguardando quegli elementi di design iconici che rendono ogni Pershing inconfondibile sin dal primo sguardo. E propri questa evoluzione coerente, conforme a una visione della nautica che esprime ogni volta grande originalità, regala a Pershing 140 una cifra stilistica inedita e in linea con una storia di cui sono fiero di far parte.”

Ricordiamo che questo 42 metri è un modello di “rottura” per Pershing perché realizzato negli stabilimenti del Gruppo di Ancona, specializzati nella costruzione di super e mega yacht in acciaio e alluminio, non sarà quindi in VTR come i suoi “fratellini” minori.
Saranno tre  attualmente tre le motorizzazioni previste su Pershing 140.

Varo previsto per gli inizi del 2018 due le opzioni per i motori, sempre MTU, si tratta o di una coppia di 12 cilindri a V (per 3.460 HP in totale ) o di due 16, sempre a  V,   m per ben 4.613 HP complessivi.
