Porto Carlo Riva di Rapallo : denunciato un traffico di rifiuti di lusso per 3,5 milioni di euroย ย ย
Non cโรจ davvero pace per il Porto Carlo Riva di Rapallo. Dopo la devastante mareggiata dellโautunno 2018 e il lungo periodo di lockdown di questโanno, unโaltra onda violentissima si abbatte sul marina piรน grande dโItalia. Stavolta a colpire lo storico scalo turistico del Levante ligure sarebbe stato un gruppo mafioso che avrebbe messo le mani in maniera illecita sullo smaltimento delle imbarcazioni affondate dalla burrasca di due anni fa.
Eโ quanto emerge dallโoperazione โCaronteโ, condotta dai carabinieri della Compagnia di Santa Margherita Ligure, che ha portato alla luce un traffico di rifiuti โdi lussoโ, con sette arresti sullโasse Rapallo-Bacoli, un divieto di dimora e sequestri per oltre 3 milioni e mezzo di euro.
Le persone coinvolte, alcuni gravate da precedenti di polizia, sono imprenditori, avvocati e professionisti della nautica, ritenute a vario titolo responsabili del trasporto, stoccaggio, gestione e smaltimento illecito di rifiuti relativi alle barche distrutte dalla tempesta che aveva messo in ginocchio Rapallo, causando lโaffondamento di oltre quattrocento yacht.
I relitti, 85 in totale, sarebbero stati rimossi senza autorizzazione e senza rispettare le normative sulla tutela ambientale, e dunque a prezzi molto piรน bassi, facendo leva su due societร collegate a Pasquale Capuano, pregiudicato, che aveva promosso e gestito lโintera filiera illecita.
Porto Carlo Riva di Rapallo: ai domiciliari i vertici del marina
Oltre a Pasquale Capuano, che si trovava giร in carcere (prima a Marassi, poi ad Avellino), sono stati disposti gli arresti domiciliari per i vertici della Porto Carlo Riva: il presidente Andrea DallโAsta, la direttrice Marina Scarpino e il consulente Massimo Burzi. Stessa sorte per Roberto Lembo, ingegnere campano che ha messo in contatto Capuano con i vertici del porto ligure, Francesco Acamfora, avvocato partenopeo legato a Lembo, e Filomena Capuano, figlia dellโimprenditore.
Per tutti lโaccusa รจ di traffico illecito di rifiuti aggravato, violenza privata aggravata dal metodo mafioso, illecita concorrenza con violenza e minaccia e intermediazione illecita di manodopera. Capuano e i vertici del porto sono indagati anche per omicidio colposo per la morte di un sub, reclutatoย come operaio dallโimprenditore campano e deceduto durante le operazioni di rimozione dei relitti.
Insomma, unโaltra vicenda estremamente delicata sta mettendo a dura prova il marina internazionale di Rapallo che aveva riaperto i battenti a fine maggio, dopo aver siglato un accordo con Fincantieri Infrastructure per la ricostruzione e il rinforzo della struttura portuale e che, proprio qualche giorno fa, ha accolto lโarrivo di una prima cinquantina di yacht in vista dellโestate. Ma sul Porto Carlo Riva, ancora una volta, il sole sembra tardare a risplendere.
