Description

The Club de Mar is located within the bay of Palma de Mallorca, about 4 kilometers by land from the port of Palma and its historic center, in the southwestern part of the island.
This is a private marina, which saw the light of day in the early 1970s.
It offers a good variety of services to its clients, not only related to yachting and sailing, but also of a commercial nature.

There are 625 berths within the port area.
Most berths are intended for vessels between 4 and 12 meters in length, but there are some areas designated for the parking of megayachts not exceeding 120 meters in length.
The maximum draft for vessels landing in this port between 3 and 9 meters.

The marina offers an assistance service for boat approach and docking maneuvers, as well as a weather service in the harbormaster’s office and an information service.
The port has workshops that can perform various kinds of repairs on boats (electrical, mechanical, structural), as well as a hull cleaning service.
Crane service allows boats to be pulled dry for repairs and storage, while an inland shuttle service provides access to the various port areas.

Club de Mar also offers a security service, a laundry, and a fire-fighting service.
Within the area, guests can use the restrooms and showers (designed to be handicap accessible).
There is also a fueling station and a medical office within the port area.

Beyond the yachting area, Club de Mar has some tourist reception facilities.
Indeed, in its area there is a restaurant, an equipped outdoor swimming pool, a bar and lounge bar,a disco, a supermarket, and a conference room.
There is also a country club reserved for marina members.
There are also boat, car and RV rental outlets in the harbor area.
In the immediate vicinity of the landing you can find other hotels, bars, restaurants and businesses.

The club organizes sailing and kayaking courses for children and adults and hosts various regattas and competitions throughout the year.
Club de Mar is located in the departmental area of Palma de Mallorca, one of the busiest areas on the entire island.

One of the beaches in the vicinity of this landing is S’Arenal beach, the longest beach on the island, famous for its crystal-clear waters and fine, clear sand.
The beach is under municipal management, is easily accessible from the mainland (including for the disabled) and offers kiosks and the possibility of renting beach equipment (umbrellas, sunbeds)

Leaving the port area, passing Port Pi and sailing south, one can encounter some picturesque coves and beaches on Mallorca’s west coast.
Caló de Grells beach has coarse sand and is fairly quiet (thanks in part to the rocky slope to be undertaken to access it).
It is a fairly accorsed anchorage area (although in high winds it is not recommended to anchor), and winds can cause wave motions that are bothersome to bathing.

Palma de Mallorca offers many attractions-during the day and at night-and the Museum of Contemporary Spanish Art is definitely worth a visit.
Not far from Palma de Mallorca (and easily accessible from Club de Mar) is also Magaluf, a center renowned for nightlife entertainment and especially suitable for a young audience.

The Palma de Mallorca area and its surroundings enjoy a good network of public road transport, which is useful for getting around even in the evening hours.

Do you need to sell your boat? You are in the right place! Tuttobarche.it is in fact the largest online portal on recreational boating and in this section you will be able to write your ad for free if you want to sell your boat. Adding a new sales message is very simple and intuitive as is finding a boat you are interested in buying, but to make your listing even more appealing, we want to give you some general but important pointers that you can follow if you wish.

First of all, try to personalize your ad, describing the history of the boat and perhaps the reason why you are selling it, this way you will gain more trust from the reader.

You can call it “half-new” if it is almost new, or “used” by specifying whether or not it is in good condition. It indicates the condition of the engines, the year of registration, how many owners it has had-most importantly, it indicates whether the boat has been owned by a single owner: it increases interest to those reading the ad.

The goodness of your craft must shine through in your message, because before you can convince someone, you yourself must be convinced that the product is good.

It is important that no spelling errors are made in the advertisement, so reread the message well before putting it online. The language then must be clear and simple, understandable to all.

It serves to attract interest and induce the reader to continue reading; it is the most important part and should summarize in one line the whole message we want to give. Unfortunately, you don’t have much chance to stand out much except with something really original to attract attention. So focus on truly original details of the boat, its real qualities: in the Tuttobarche.it portal this brief summary will appear by hovering over the picture of the boat with the mouse.

It is important to clearly include the general record of the vessel. Always enter: shipyard, model, length, width, draft, engines, number of cabins, year of construction, price.

In the boat sheet accurately enter all boat details, standard and extra equipment. It is useful to communicate many details and details for those who are really interested and will continue reading beyond the first few lines.

Suggest to the reader who wants to buy the best features of your craft, and do not indicate-unless it is necessary to inform the buyer in advance-information that might negatively influence the reader.

Always indicate the price. Unless you absolutely do not want to deal, we recommend adding the words “price negotiable” which gives an incentive for the buyer to contact you.
