Description

Club Nautico Serranova is located in Alcudia Bay, along the northeastern part of the island of Majorca.

It is a small landing place for smaller boats.
In fact, it has 113 berths for boats with a maximum length of 7 meters and a maximum width of 2.5 meters. The draft of boats in transit here cannot be more than 120 centimeters.
When sailing in the waters of the port area, care should be taken not to exceed a speed of 2.5 knots.

Boaters who stop here can take advantage of the presence of a continuous security service, power columns and drinking water sources, a harbormaster’s office open from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. (Monday through Friday), and public showers and toilets.
There are also facilities for collecting waste oil and dark water and a repair area, with workshops, ramp and a crane that can lift weights of up to four tons.
The port area also has a bar-restaurant and public telephones.

There is no fuel station in the club: to refuel, it is necessary to render in the port of Pollenรงa or in the Club Nautico Colonia de Sant Pere.

The Serranova Sailing Club’s sailing school offers sailing courses and the possibility of renting nautical equipment.
The club is located in the settlement of Son Serra de Marina, where you can find restaurants, bars, supermarkets, hotels, and public bus stops.
Standing inside the port area and looking to the right, you can see Son Serra de Marina beach, along a fairly wide shoreline of sand and rocks. It is a municipal beach, about 450 meters long, which is also accessible to people with physical disabilities. The area offers showers and a security service. The shallow waters do not make it advisable to anchor with your boat in this area, because the risk of getting stranded is high.

The other beach in the surrounding area is Son Real, named after the stream that flows here. It is a long beach of 5 kilometers, with two marshy areas (coinciding with the mouth of the Son Real and Son Baulรณ creeks), composed of sand and rocks. It does not offer any kind of services, which does not make it an overcrowded beach even in the summer time.

The club and the adjacent beach of Son Serra de Marina are also easily accessible by land, either by bus or by leaving your car in a free parking lot nearby.
In the urban core of Son Serra de Marina there is a tower, which makes the landing place easily identifiable even from the sea.
Numerous, small streams flow onto this stretch of coast.

Boating out of the Serranova Nautical Club area and heading east is the Capdepera area, which is full of small coves in which to anchor in favorable weather conditions: among the many, Cala Torta, Cala Agulla, and Cala Ratjada can be mentioned.

The Serranova Club is part of the district of Santa Margalida, a town located less than 60 kilometers from Mallorca. This is the area richest in archaeological finds on the island of Majorca, indicating a substantial inhabitative presence in prehistoric times.
In the area of Alcudia it is possible to visit the Alzineret caves, dating from prehistoric times.
The Bay of Alcudia is one of the most fascinating stretches of coastline in the northern part of Majorca. Alicudia is one of the oldest Spanish cities facing the Mediterranean Sea was an important ports in Phoenician and Carthaginian times, as well as an important Greek, Roman, Saracen and finally Aragonese colony.

Formerly called Pollentia, it is about 20 kilometers from the Serranova Sailing Club. Places of interest include the Porta de Moll and the ancient Roman walls.

Do you need to sell your boat? You are in the right place! yachtdigest.com is in fact the largest online portal on recreational boating and in this section you will be able to write your ad for free if you want to sell your boat. Adding a new sales message is very simple and intuitive as is finding a boat you are interested in buying, but to make your listing even more appealing, we want to give you some general but important pointers that you can follow if you wish.

First of all, try to personalize your ad, describing the history of the boat and perhaps the reason why you are selling it, this way you will gain more trust from the reader.

You can call it “half-new” if it is almost new, or “used” by specifying whether or not it is in good condition. It indicates the condition of the engines, the year of registration, how many owners it has had-most importantly, it indicates whether the boat has been owned by a single owner: it increases interest to those reading the ad.

The goodness of your craft must shine through in your message, because before you can convince someone, you yourself must be convinced that the product is good.

It is important that no spelling errors are made in the advertisement, so reread the message well before putting it online. The language then must be clear and simple, understandable to all.

It serves to attract interest and induce the reader to continue reading; it is the most important part and should summarize in one line the whole message we want to give. Unfortunately, you don’t have much chance to stand out much except with something really original to attract attention. So focus on truly original details of the boat, its real qualities: in the yachtdigest.com portal this brief summary will appear by hovering over the picture of the boat with the mouse.

It is important to clearly include the general record of the vessel. Always enter: shipyard, model, length, width, draft, engines, number of cabins, year of construction, price.

In the boat sheet accurately enter all boat details, standard and extra equipment. It is useful to communicate many details and details for those who are really interested and will continue reading beyond the first few lines.

Suggest to the reader who wants to buy the best features of your craft, and do not indicate-unless it is necessary to inform the buyer in advance-information that might negatively influence the reader.

Always indicate the price. Unless you absolutely do not want to deal, we recommend adding the words “price negotiable” which gives an incentive for the buyer to contact you.
