Description

TheClubNàutic Ciutadella is located on the southwest coast of Menorca. It is located in the middle of the urban agglomeration of Ciutadella and is a very short distance from its natural ports and the city’s historic center.

The ports are located within an inlet, so access to the mooring area is through entering the cove.

It is a small marina, which provides its clients with 180 berths, for boats no longer than 18 meters and with a draft of no more than three meters. The marina provides its clients with electricity supply columns, drinking water sources, showers and toilets, and wifi internet connection.

The club also has aboat workshop for boat repair and maintenance. Maintenance equipment includes a crane, which can lift boats weighing no more than 12 tons, while a ‘technical team takes care of boat maintenance and cleaning operations.
The facilities are available for use by club members as well as transient boaters (clearly, preferential rates are provided for members).
The port area also includes a fueling station (open Monday through Friday from 9:15 a.m. to 6 p.m., 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturdays, and closed on Sundays and holidays).

The facility was founded in the 1920s as a sailing and boating club. It currently operates a sailing school and a rowing school, as well as an amateur fishing section.
The club organizes nautical events, regattas, and competitions throughout the year.
In addition, scuba diving enthusiasts can participate in excursions to the surrounding seabed.

The port area also includes a restaurant. The nautical club’s extremely central location makes it easy to find all kinds of services and commercial activities nearby.
The southwestern coast of Menorca is full of beautiful coves, inlets and caves, and just as many beaches.
More generally, the island is home to more than 80 beaches, from the larger, fine, clear sandy ones on the southern coast to the smaller, rocky ones in the northern area.

One of the nearest beaches is Cala Santandria, about 4 kilometers from Ciutadella.
The beach has fine, light-colored sand, is easily accessible from land, has free parking nearby (although it is also easily reached by public transportation), and is barrier-free.
It is exposed to only westerly and northwesterly winds, and the sandy seabed-high and good tenors-in its vicinity make it a good area to give fonda.
On Cala Santandria beach you can find showers, toilets, a first aid station, and a restaurant.

Heading west instead is Cala en Blanes and its pale sandy beach. The beach is surrounded by low rocky cliffs covered with vegetation. The sand and seaweed bottoms are unsuitable for the anchoring of large boats, but it is not uncommon to see small boats moored in the bay.
The beach offers the possibility of renting umbrellas and beach chairs and the use of showers and toilets.

A total of four beaches can be found on the territory of the municipality of Ciutadella.

Ciutadella is considered one of the main centers of Menorca (it was also its ancient capital, which was later moved to Mahon). Its streets see evidence of the many populations that have followed over the centuries in its conquest: Carthaginians, Moors, Aragonese, and Turks.

Some remains of the ancient Talayotic civilization have also been found here.

The natural city port, the cathedral (very close to the Club Nàutic Ciutadella) and the municipal palace are worth a walk and a visit.

Do you need to sell your boat? You are in the right place! yachtdigest.com is in fact the largest online portal on recreational boating and in this section you will be able to write your ad for free if you want to sell your boat. Adding a new sales message is very simple and intuitive as is finding a boat you are interested in buying, but to make your listing even more appealing, we want to give you some general but important pointers that you can follow if you wish.

First of all, try to personalize your ad, describing the history of the boat and perhaps the reason why you are selling it, this way you will gain more trust from the reader.

You can call it “half-new” if it is almost new, or “used” by specifying whether or not it is in good condition. It indicates the condition of the engines, the year of registration, how many owners it has had-most importantly, it indicates whether the boat has been owned by a single owner: it increases interest to those reading the ad.

The goodness of your craft must shine through in your message, because before you can convince someone, you yourself must be convinced that the product is good.

It is important that no spelling errors are made in the advertisement, so reread the message well before putting it online. The language then must be clear and simple, understandable to all.

It serves to attract interest and induce the reader to continue reading; it is the most important part and should summarize in one line the whole message we want to give. Unfortunately, you don’t have much chance to stand out much except with something really original to attract attention. So focus on truly original details of the boat, its real qualities: in the yachtdigest.com portal this brief summary will appear by hovering over the picture of the boat with the mouse.

It is important to clearly include the general record of the vessel. Always enter: shipyard, model, length, width, draft, engines, number of cabins, year of construction, price.

In the boat sheet accurately enter all boat details, standard and extra equipment. It is useful to communicate many details and details for those who are really interested and will continue reading beyond the first few lines.

Suggest to the reader who wants to buy the best features of your craft, and do not indicate-unless it is necessary to inform the buyer in advance-information that might negatively influence the reader.

Always indicate the price. Unless you absolutely do not want to deal, we recommend adding the words “price negotiable” which gives an incentive for the buyer to contact you.
