Club Nàutic Ibiza

Club Nàutic Ibiza is located within the port area of Puerto de Ibiza, in the department of Eivissa, along the southern coast of the island.

The club celebrated its 90th birthday in February 2015 and is the second oldest port landing on the island (after Ciutadella).

The landing has 300 berths, 270 of which are normally reserved for club members. Each berth is equipped with an electricity supply column and a drinking water source. Clients also have access to showers, toilets, changing rooms, and a team of experts to clean and maintain the hulls. In addition, the club has a workshop for repairs on boats, with a crane that can lift boats of up to twelve tons, a 10-meter ramp, and a storage area, intended for both members and passing boaters.

Club Nàutic Ibiza can accommodate boats with a maximum length of 18 meters. The maximum draft allowed for boats transiting the landing area is two meters.
There is no fueling station in the area, but it can be found within the area of the very nearby Puerto Deportivo de Ibiza Nueva.
The Club offers sailing courses of all levels (aimed at children, teens and adults) and is the backdrop for numerous nautical events, races and regattas throughout the year.

Its central location to the points of interest in Ibiza Town (Eivissa) and good connections to the other islands of the Balearic Islands archipelago make this port a popular destination, especially in the summer season.
In the immediate vicinity of the port you can find hotels, supermarkets, fast food outlets, restaurants, and stores, as well as the headquarters of the University of the Balearic Islands Islands and a hospital.

As you move around the city, you can visit the Ibiza Cathedral, the Casa Broner Museum, the Museo Monográfico y Necrópolis Púnica de Puig des Molins, and the Archaeological Museum.
Instead, the old town is called Dalt Vila and is located on top of a hill. It dates back to the 16th century, but was erected on the remains of the ancient Punic settlement.

One of the closest beaches to Club Nàutic Ibiza is Cala Talamanca.

It is a sandy beach, almost a kilometer long, with some rocky agglomerations, and is included in the urban agglomeration. Its calm, crystal-clear waters and sheltered location make it a popular destination for families.

It is the largest beach in the department of Eivissa and has shallow, sandy, seaweed-covered bottoms, making it possible to give anchorage with small boats.
The beach is set up for disabled access and offers the possibility of renting beach equipment such as sunbeds and umbrellas.

Platja d’en Bossa is located instead about 2.5 kilometers from the center of Ibiza. It is a large, east-facing beach of fine sand with shallow waters. The sustained winds that sweep it make it a popular destination for windsurfers.
To the south of the beach is the best area to give fonda, with sandy bottoms with seaweed and a depth ranging from four to seven meters.
The fact that this beach can be conveniently reached on foot from the center of Ibiza town, by bicycle or by bus make it very popular during the summer months.

The third beach in the municipality of Eivissa (close enough to Club Nàutic Ibiza) is Ses Figueretes. It is still a large beach with fine sand, easily accessible from the mainland and incorporated into the urban area. Here you can rent beach equipment and enjoy a nice view of the old town of Dalt Vila.
