Port Adriano is located along the west coast of the island of Majorca, in the department of Calvià, in the locality of El Toro and not far from the town of Magaluf.
The ports structure was built in 2012 and designed by French architect and designer Philippe Starck.
It is a modern, upscale landing place and is organized to accommodate boats of various sizes, starting from a length of less than seven meters to a maximum size of eighty meters.
Port Adriano has 488 berths for boats, of which 87 are reserved for boats longer than 20 meters (and always less than 80 meters), spread over an area of 25,000 square meters.
During the summer period, some areas are also set up for mooring that can accommodate boats up to 100 meters long.
The maximum draft in the entire mooring area is 7 meters.
The port also has a 10,000-square-meter workshop area, which can assist vessels in repair and maintenance works.
Facilities also include a crane, which can lift boats weighing up to 250 tons.
The innermost area is equipped to accommodate smaller boats, while the outermost and newest areas are reserved for yachts and megayachts.
Marina customers can get electricity and drinking water at each berth and have access to toilets, showers, clothing, a wifi network, and a fueling station.
The marina also has a continuous security service.
In addition, parking for motorcycles and cars, a gymnasium and a playground for children can be found here.
The port is set up with a number of numerous restaurants (pizzerias, sushi bars, steakhouses, ice cream parlors, wine bars) to choose from.
The port also offers a wide selection of clothing and nautical stores, as well as a supermarket.
In the immediate vicinity of the port, however, other services and businesses (banks, hotels, restaurants) can be found
Within the Port Adriano area there are also a number of nautical schools, where sailing, surfing, diving and paddle surfing courses can be taken.
In addition, it has a center dedicated to jet skiing and fly surfing.
About five minutes from the port area, on the other hand, there is a golf club (Golf Santa Ponça).
Port Adriano is the setting for many events, festivals and shows, related not only to the world of boating, but also to film, dining and music.
The closest beach to Port Adriano is El Toro beach, located a very short distance from the boating area.
It is a beach with fine golden sand, flanked by a high natural wall of reddish rock (coloration due to the high concentration of iron oxide in the substrate).
Easy access and proximity to the town make it a popular destination for locals: in fact, the beach is easily accessible on foot, by bus, or even by car, parking in a free parking area nearby.
The naturally protected location from southerly winds, the sandy seabed (with seaweed) between three and five meters deep, and its proximity to the port area make the stretch of water in front of El Toro beach a place where boaters often go to anchor.
Showers, toilets and kiosks where beach chairs and umbrellas can be rented can be found on the beach.
Port Adriano is about nine kilometers south of Santa Ponça, a fairly well-known evening tourist attraction for those in the area.
By contrast, it is about 20 kilometers from Palma de Mallorca, which can be reached by sea, but also by local bus lines and by car (with a journey of about half an hour).
