Porto di San Antoni

Sant Antoni di Portmany is a municipality located on the west coast of the island of Ibiza. It is currently one of the island’s main tourist centers, located about 20 km away from the capital, and has a large port in its bay, which allows maritime traffic of passengers and merchandise with the Iberian Peninsula.

Sant Antoni di Portmany has the great fortune of being able to enjoy fantastic sunsets all 365 days of the year. Its favorable location, entirely to the west, has made this resort famous for its setting sun, drawing hordes of tourists every year to enjoy magical evenings. The custom is for everyone to gather on the beach, sipping beer at the various chiringuitos, and enjoying the spectacle of the sun literally disappearing into the sea, like a big orange ball, incredibly close.

Sant Antoni is a sea-oriented municipality, and the Club Nautico facilities are its ports of entry. The marina is the closest to the coast of mainland Spain, and the second largest port in the Pitiuse Islands. The facility is used for activities such as fishing, recreational boating, and merchant boating.

The port is sheltered from the Tramontana and Levante winds by the Island of Conejera, which is also a protector against storms from the Ponente and Maestrale. In any case, the port is well sheltered further by a 400-meter seawall.

The Nautical Club has the great advantage of being right in the center of Sant Antoni, having all kinds of services at your fingertips. A five-minute walk away is the bus station, while only 100 meters from the Club’s entrance is the cab rank, elements that allow the infrastructure to be accessible and well served, the ideal place to stay.

The marina offers a wide range of services, all divided among the Club’s various buildings: the harbormaster’s office, the Social Headquarters, and the sports area. At the harbormaster’s office are located the toilets and showers, as well as the fuel station, while the Social Headquarters houses the cafeteria, the “Es Nautic” restaurant, ready to tempt its customers with tasty seafood specialties, a social salon and the Club’s management offices.

Boat maintenance and repair services are provided; the marina is equipped with a crane capable of lifting weights up to 12 tons. Yard, hold and boat maintenance services are dispensed, with trench cleaning and other specific work upon request.

In terms of berthing service, the Club can count on 578 berths, spread over ten piers for boats between 6 and 30 meters. At the end of the central pier is a fuel station, with gasoline and diesel service, which can serve up to four boats at the same time.

New state-of-the-art technologies to ensure improvements in security service have been installed, e.g., dock access control and video surveillance. In addition, wi-fi network covers the entire area of the Club, and you can also reserve your berth online, with immediate confirmation, avoiding waiting.

Finally, the wide bay in front of the harbor is an excellent anchorage for overnighting atanchor. Beware, however, of doing this at the northern end of the area, as the bottom falls abruptly and it is very easy for the anchor not to be well subjected to the bottom.
