The Marina Santa Eulalia port is located on the east coast of the island of Ibiza, just 14 kilometers from the capital, in the eponymous municipality of Santa Eulalia del Rรญo. Its favorable location allows tourists to reach all the most beautiful bays and coves of the island, especially all those favorite destinations for locals who want to get away from the summer crowds, also ideal for boaters who want to stop quiet places.
Ibiza’s two most famous hippie markets are a stone’s throw from the marina ports of Santa Eulalia. The Punta Arabรญ market, in Es Canar, has been in operation since the 1970s and can boast as many as 400 stalls; it is the most typical on the entire island. In contrast, the Las Dalias market is perfect for live performances, children’s events, and clothing and jewelry items.
The Marina of Santa Eulalia is the port with the largest number of berths on the island of Ibiza, with its 763 berths, and welcomes all types of vessels: from small “llaรผts,” traditional boats of the Ibizan fishermen, to the large yachts that go in search of a berth on the island every year, to enjoy the tranquility of its places and the beauty of its landscapes.
The maximum length limit for boats is 22 meters. However, the ports are also available to accommodate larger boats if needed. Under these circumstances, it is necessary to contact the harbormaster’s office in advance to reserve a berth.
The sailor who decides to stop at this special port will be surprised by the warm welcome the staff gives to its customers: here travelers are not just tourists, over the years they get to establish friendly and affectionate relationships, one of the main goals of the marina group, which tends to offer a kind service with all the conveniences and services that are appropriate to a well-qualified port.
The port is also home to the headquarters of the Santa Eulalia del Rรญo Sailing Club, an institution that plays an important role in the life of the marina throughout the year. It is in charge of promoting nautical activities, as well as the various sailing courses, but above all it organizes regattas and various sporting events, among which it is worth mentioning the world sailing championship, Tornado class, in 2013.
One of the special features that make this ports unique is the large commercial area that has been built there: an area completely dedicated to shopping, with a wide variety of restaurants, bars, cafes, stores (including many with nautical items) and a wide range of other services, all within easy reach. In particular, the dining area can count on more than 20 restaurants and eateries, ranging from local to Asian cuisine, from Italian to German and even English.
Dry docks are made available to customers for repairs or simple maintenance. Facilities are equipped with 70-ton Travel Lift and a forklift. The hours vary from season to season, during the summer season the service is provided from Monday to Saturday, 09:00 to 13:00 and 15:00 to 20:00. Whereas during the winter season, the hours are reduced, and are Monday to Saturday from 09:00 to 13:00 and 15:00 to 19:00. Closed on Sundays and holidays.
