The Marina of Policoro is the marina of the Marinagri complex, a modern and well-equipped town that overlooks the sea and includes the Marina Village suburb. It is a residential area where there are numerous houses and apartments.
The ports offer 750 berths for boats ranging from 8 to 30 m. Limestone piers extend 250 m to the southeast, with stable depths of about 5 m. Access and interior channels have a considerable width, minimum depth of 3.50 m.
The structure of the ports
This berth is shaped in such a way as to ensure minimal wave motion, thanks in part to an anti-swell pier, which is located within the harbor mouth. The berths are well oriented according to the direction of the prevailing winds.
Marina di Policoro is equipped with an electronic sea access control system that allows recognition of vessels equipped with transponders and generates an alarm when unauthorized vessels pass through, all assisted by video footage and visual and audible beacons.
