Located outside the port area of Castellammare di Stabia Porto Davide presents itself as a viable alternative tourist landing place.

The marina is located between the breakwater pier of Castellammare Landing and a reef, sheltered by a pier-parallel to the breakwater pier-with 3 groynes.
It can accommodate up to 200 boats that are no more than 40 meters in length.
Theport area has piers (with a total length of about 400 meters) reserved for recreational activities.

In addition, the dock houses water and electricity outlets and a diesel fuel station (open from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.).

Porto Davide is an excellent starting point for sailing to the island of Capri (about 15 miles away),following a rather quiet route suitable even for crews with first sailing experience.
Following a slightly longer route, on the other hand, one takes the direction of the Amalfi Coast, discovering the beauty of Amalfi and Maiori (27 and 28 miles away).
Those who dock at porto Davide can also enjoy a magnificent view of Mount Vesuvius.

In addition to a food outlet within the port there is also a bar and a restaurant.
Leaving the ports area, one finds oneself in the very center of Castellammare di Stabia, where one can find stores, supermarkets, bars, and a wide selection of restaurants.

The town is especially worth visiting for its medieval castle, the Quisisana palace and Villa Arianna, which dates back to Roman times.
A ten-minute walk from the landing is the Castellammare train station, an ideal starting point for reaching Naples, the archaeological excavations of Pompeii and Herculaneum and the center of Sorrento.
The train is also a viable alternative to summer traffic on the sea routes to reach the beaches of Scrajo and Vico Equense on the Sorrento Peninsula.

Easily accessible is also the cable car station, which makes it possible to climb Mount Faito in just a few minutes, an ideal destination for trekking enthusiasts that can also be reached by bus.
Numerous hiking routes depart from the mountain, leading to Vico Equense, Positano and Agerola. From the top of the mountain you can admire a striking panorama of the Gulf of Naples and the Gulf of Salerno.
