Porto di Marina di Casalvelino

Located in the southernmost part of the coast of Campania, the port of Marina di Casalvelino is one of the ports of call on the Cilento Coast.

The ports consists of an elbowed under-billow pier and a three-armed over-billow pier, both of which are docked and adequately marked by flashing lights, red for the under-billow pier and green for the over-billow pier.

The final part of the outer pier is used for mooring boats in transit, while in the inner part of the port we find seven floating docks.
The management of these piers is the responsibility of the municipality, but they are operated by a private cooperative.
The sub-billow pier is reserved for fishing boats, except for the initial part, where a portion of the pier is used exclusively for mooring Port Authority units.

The port offers a fair number of services, including a shower area and a laundry.
For those arriving at the port by land, the port also offers boat rentals.
In addition, restaurants, bars, stores, supermarkets, hotels, and camping sites can be found in the vicinity of the port area.

The port of Marina di Casalvelino is very close to that of Acciaroli but has more tranquility and less crowding during the summer months than its neighbor to the west.
The port is also very close to the beautiful beach of Pioppi (in the municipality of Acciaroli) but is also an excellent starting point for setting off to explore the beautiful caves of Capo Palinuro and the many bays and coves of the Marina di Camerota area.

The immediate vicinity of the ports also offers beautiful free or equipped sandy beaches that are easily accessible.

For those who feel like going into the Cilento hinterland to discover the millennia-old history of these lands, it is possible to rent a car and thus reach the ancient excavations of Velia and the heart of the Cilento and Vallo di Diano National Park, of which Casalvelino and its sea are part.
Lovers of trekking and ‘hiking can go into the Cilento hinterland from here, discovering ancient stone buildings and small villages with an ancient flavor, in a beautiful natural setting.

Also for this 2015, part of the Marina di Casalvelino waterfront, like other beaches on the Cilento Coast, was awarded the prestigious Blue Flag title.

The port of Marina di Casalvelino is a good port for those who want to enjoy the beauty of the Cilento land without sacrificing tranquility.
