Port of Naples – At the center of the Mediterranean Sea

The first port in Italy and second worldwide in terms of the number of passengers carried each year. Theport of Naples is located in the northernmost inlet of the Gulf of Naples. Traffic pours into the two central piers.

  • Angioino Pier: where cruise ships and cargo vessels dock. (The maritime station at that pier is the largest in the world).
  • Molo Beverello: principally a pier intended for hydrofoils and ferries to Capri, Ischia and Procida that (north of the Gulf of Naples)

Areas reserved for recreational boating

There are currently 2500 berths reserved for boating along the port complex. Plans are underway to expand the areas dedicated to recreational boats.
