The port of Menton Garavan is one of the largest on the Côte d’Azur and introduces one to the pleasant panorama of the French Riviera, behind the azure pearl Menton. Located on the side of the Italian border, it frames the bay of Garavan.
It has a capacity of 770 berths for all types of boats (with a maximum length of 40 meters), 144 of which are reserved for boats in transit. The port of Menton Garavan offers many services to the yachtsman, including a fuel station at the quay open continuously from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. during the summer season.
The port maintains within it a shipyard and numerous businesses related to port activities as well as stores with provisioning services for boaters. As a port it looks like a scaled-down version of the port of Monte Carlo, but do not be fooled by the setting and prestige that precedes Monte Carlo’s fame.
The shipyard, in addition to blending with architectural harmony with the port structure, benefits from a tourist backdrop of the French coastline and the Old Town Lighthouse.
Menton’s orange-colored brick castle, once a historic landing point and lookout, is now a pure historical attraction.
The ports offers every boat and its ownerswifi internet, security service, weather information, and the possibility of hiring a service crew.
Those who own a boat and like to sail beyond the Italian seas can find in the ports of Menton Garavan a facility full of services that can provide everything they need for an initial stop.
