Marina di Porto Vecchio

Tourist and commercial ports

Located within the Gulf of Porto Vecchio, a bay about 5 miles deep, the marina is protected by the Dispensary ee dam to the east and the Ficaja dam to the north.

Thanks to its strategic location to the nearby beaches of Santa Giulia Palombaggia, this port in Corsica is the island’s main tourist destination. It has about 400 berths, 150 of which are reserved for transit.
The area reserved for boating is an ideal starting point for cruises to the Lavezzi Islands.

A 40-ton crane and assitance and repair services for small and medium-sized boats are available at the port facility.

Entrance into the gulf

Boats entering the gulf are advised to follow the planned alignments.

  • Alignment of 274° between the Pozzoli light north of the marina and the Punta Benedetto buoy.
  • 255° to the green buoy
  • Finally 254th

The depths in the bank range from 2 to 3.5 meters while in the channel are 3.5 meters.
The maximum speed allowed for boats is 5 knots in the channel and 3 within the port.
