Located within the western part of the bay of the same name, Port de Beaulieu is a marina on the French Riviera.
Beaulieu Bay is located north of Fourmis Bay and south of Pointe de Beaulieu.
The port consists of three docked piers and a central wharf and houses within it, in addition to the modern marina, the old fishing port.
Within the port, on the left side, there is also a shipyard.
The port is not clearly visible from the open sea, but sailors know they are close to the landing when they can make out from the boat the ancient citadel of Eze, just behind the Cap Ferrat headland.
It is easily accessible from two different passages, separated by a breakwater: the southern one is recommended for boats not exceeding 18 meters; the northern one is recommended for larger vessels and is the obligatory access in rough seas and at night.
The speed limit to be observed for all vessels within the port area is 3 knots.
The landing place, with technical assistance for electrical repairs, wooden, fiberglass and steel hulls and sails, offers its guests a wide range of services.
In addition, a bar, restaurant and food store can be found in the port perimeter.
The whole area is constantly monitored by a surveillance and video surveillance service, and in summer there is also a police station.
The port has a lounge area, complete with television and international newspapers, and offers the option for those stationed in the port to have personal correspondence delivered to the port address.
Services also include pumping out boats’ sewage and waste and waste oil collection.
The marina also has certifications on the new international standards (ISO 9001 and ISO 14001) for the protection of the sea and the environment.
The landing is located in the center of town and provides access to stores, cafes, hotels, banks, and the train station within minutes.
The lines and rail and bus routes that pass through the city allow access to many nearby places of interest, such as Nice, Cannes, Menton, and Ventimiglia.
A stroll through the streets of Beaulieu-sur-Mer provides a magnificent view of the Cap Ferrat promontory and a chance to discover the little gems the town has to offer, such as Villa Kérylos, a building dating back to the time of the ancient Greeks and famous for its colorful mosaics and striking view of the bay.
The area’s naturalistic interest will undoubtedly win over even avid hikers in search of verdant vistas.
By setting sail with your own boat from the ports of Beaulieu, you can reach many of the destinations in the surrounding area in a short time, for example, Monaco, Villefrance sur Mer, Saint Jean-Cap Ferrat , and San Remo.
The Port de Beaulieu is certainly a viable option for those who want to land in a well-organized harbor and enjoy the beauty of the French Riviera.
