Marina Hramina – Isola di Murter

The ports located within Hramina Bay are well protected and sheltered from winds. Its strategic location, and proximity to the Kornati National Park, makes it an ideal base for boaters and lovers of the sea and cruising. There are 400 berths in the water, 250 on land with connections for electricity, water and satellite TV. Boats are secured by mooring system. Mooring assistance is continuous is provided by qualified personnel day and night and there is also continuous surveillance. The marina offers repairs, restaurant, grocery store, laundry.

Theapproach remains problematic because of the numerous islets in front of the bay and the shallow depth of the seabed surrounding it. From the northeast from Slosella Bay one must pass between the islands tegina and Gradina. The approach from the northwest or north is possible without any danger only for boats of small draft because the seabed in some places does not exceed one meter in depth. To the west to enter ports one must pass through the islands Zminjak and Vinik Veli. In any case it is preferable to enter the ports during the day.

Marina Hramina has a long experience in organizing regattas of all kinds, from the simplest to the most challenging. One example is the Kornati Cup Regatta, one of the most important regattas in the Adriatic, with a massive presence of sailors (the event gathers more than 600).

The Tjiesno Bridge over the Murter Channel connects the island to the mainland, making it accessible and providing the opportunity to explore its surroundings, other mainland and coastal towns, and even the hinterland between Zadar and Sibenik.

Murter is located northwest of Sibenik. The island is crisscrossed by numerous paths leading to the top of the island’s hills from which there are views of the surrounding sea. There are also some bicycle paths and it is possible to go spearfishing and diving at authorized centers. The island’s inhabitants are distributed in the four main villages of Murter, Tisno, Betina and Jezera.

Murter is the oldest and main settlement on the island, located in the northwestern part of the island in the interior on a 50-meter-high saddle. To the west in Slanica Bay is Jazina Campground, which has a sandy beach surrounded by a pine forest. The shallow water of the sea facing the beach continues for a hundred meters covered with the finest crystal-clear sand. The shore is bordered by a rocky shoreline covered with pine, olive and fig trees.
