Description

Vodice is a popular tourist spot, and those sailing in northern Dalmatia often stop here before reaching Sibenik and then continuing up the Krka River.
The waters of the river are navigable to Skradin where another ACI Marina can be found.
From here it is finally possible to reach the Krka Falls on foot along a dirt road or by cab boats; the spectacle of the falls is well worth the long ascent of the freshwater stream (on the river maximum speed 5 knots and keep constantly to the right).
The place is historically famous for its large supply of water; in fact, in the center of Vodice square are two wells considered to be the symbol of the settlement.

Vodice is strategically located for tourists because in addition to being close to Sibenik and Krka Nature Park, it is also not far from the city of Zadar, and the Kornati islands can also be easily reached with daily connections.
In addition, there are numerous hotels, campsites and private accommodation facilities, and there is no shortage of nightlife.
There is a choice of several clubs near the beach, but the best known is the Hacienda, a discotheque with very active programming during the summer.
Vodice also has a very wide tourist offer in terms of food and wine and sports facilities, so it is a recommended place for those who want to spend time visiting the hinterland.
There are many sports that can be practiced, both water sports such as diving or water scooters, and summer sports such as beach volleyball, as well as inland sports such as tennis, soccer, and basketball.
Also easily accessible are wellness services such as message center, sauna and solarium.

The ACI marina in Vodice is one of the few to have received the European blue flag, so the area is clean and the local inhabitants’ respect for the environment is high.
In addition, the marina is in a location sheltered from winds and is protected by two(unlit) breakwaters.
Landing is quite easy, the town is located in a very wide bay, and the marina is open all year round, and at night it is well signaled by a flashing beacon (5 seconds).
By day, however, a very tall hotel structure is easily seen from the sea.
For entrance to the ports one can refer northward to a monument that is shaped like a torch, special attention is required cuasa a shoal indicated with the isolated black red-banded danger sign, one can enter by staying clear of the shoal on either side but the southwest side, entering on the right, is preferable because it is wider and safer.
The ACI marina is large and well equipped.
All services available including also technical assistance, marine store, newly renovated shower rooms, 25 ton crane, 40 ton travel lift.
Fuel station is located outside the ACI marina (depth of 3 mt, difficulty mooring in southerly winds).

Do you need to sell your boat? You are in the right place! yachtdigest.com is in fact the largest online portal on recreational boating and in this section you will be able to write your ad for free if you want to sell your boat. Adding a new sales message is very simple and intuitive as is finding a boat you are interested in buying, but to make your listing even more appealing, we want to give you some general but important pointers that you can follow if you wish.

First of all, try to personalize your ad, describing the history of the boat and perhaps the reason why you are selling it, this way you will gain more trust from the reader.

You can call it “half-new” if it is almost new, or “used” by specifying whether or not it is in good condition. It indicates the condition of the engines, the year of registration, how many owners it has had-most importantly, it indicates whether the boat has been owned by a single owner: it increases interest to those reading the ad.

The goodness of your craft must shine through in your message, because before you can convince someone, you yourself must be convinced that the product is good.

It is important that no spelling errors are made in the advertisement, so reread the message well before putting it online. The language then must be clear and simple, understandable to all.

It serves to attract interest and induce the reader to continue reading; it is the most important part and should summarize in one line the whole message we want to give. Unfortunately, you don’t have much chance to stand out much except with something really original to attract attention. So focus on truly original details of the boat, its real qualities: in the yachtdigest.com portal this brief summary will appear by hovering over the picture of the boat with the mouse.

It is important to clearly include the general record of the vessel. Always enter: shipyard, model, length, width, draft, engines, number of cabins, year of construction, price.

In the boat sheet accurately enter all boat details, standard and extra equipment. It is useful to communicate many details and details for those who are really interested and will continue reading beyond the first few lines.

Suggest to the reader who wants to buy the best features of your craft, and do not indicate-unless it is necessary to inform the buyer in advance-information that might negatively influence the reader.

Always indicate the price. Unless you absolutely do not want to deal, we recommend adding the words “price negotiable” which gives an incentive for the buyer to contact you.
