Pasadur(Red Port) is the name of the small village located within the bay of the same name on the western part of the island of Lastovo. The island is part of the southern Dalmatian archipelago, and among them it is the most distant from the mainland. The island is sparsely inhabited and services are quite limited; grocery stores, a couple of bars and taverns can be found. On the other hand, wildlife is rich and tranquility reigns. Even in the summer time one can enjoy the peace and beauty of the nature of the place since the influx of tourists is small, there are only a couple of hotels and the possibility of renting houses of private individuals but not much more. In addition, the island is frequented by boaters, especially diving enthusiasts; Lastovo’s seabed is particularly rich in flora and fauna. In the vicinity of Pasadur are two saltwater lakes, Velo Lago and Malo Lago whose visit is highly recommended; there are no sandy but pebble beaches.
On the island, the largest port is Ubli where, moreover, ferries and hydrofoils dock for internal connections. Pasadur is located in a very special and fascinating geographical area, on the connection point between the ‘island of Prezba and Lastovo, there is also a bridge connecting them.
Pasadur is well protected from all winds, the bay offers good anchorage, recommended for anchoring the northwestern part, better bottom and more protected. Near the restaurant there is a new and well equipped pier as can be seen in the video below, in high season however it is very busy and places are few. The restaurant has a good reputation and offers fresh fish with fast and courteous service. Prices are higher than in the area for both mooring and restaurant. Water and power, bathrooms with showers and a convenient coin-operated laundromat, the dock has depths of two to four meters. The less famous restaurant on the eastern shore also has some dead bodies in two and a half meters depth with water and power. For customers, mooring is free. For entry into the bay at night refer to the three-second red flashing light on the left. Previously there is the Struga ten-second white flashing light 27 meters above sea level, consider that coming from the southeast the lighthouse is obscured by the island itself.
