The Jewel of the Adriatic
The Marina di Rimini is one of the marinas most beautiful and at the forefront of the Mediterranean, and is located at the mouth of the Marecchia River.
The docked banks are extended by two long piers, also docked, and on the inner elbow of the east pier is a ferry docking lug and a small dock for pleasure craft.
This marina can accommodate 622 boats thanks to a body of water exceeding 100,000 square meters.
How to enter the harbor
Access is 55m wide, and is via the old canal port, which allows boats to enter in all sea conditions.
The bottom on the middle sea is 4m and the tide has an average range of about 63cm, so it is also suitable for large boats.
The Marina basin is equipped with a forced recycling system in which a pump draws a large amount of water from the sea, which is left to settle in a huge tank at the entrance to the Marina. The water is then channeled into large pipelines around it, positioned on the seabed. Three powerful pumps convey 1,200 l of water per minute into the reservoir, so that a total water exchange can be carried out in just 72 hours.
The construction site
Within the landfall is a shipyard equipped for operations on boats of all types and sizes. A 7,000-square-meter yard used as a storage area and 100-ton overhead crane is in operation for hauling and launching boats and repairing hulls, sails and on-board equipment.
