ASD Canoe San Giorgio began in 1965 as the DLF rowing section and became affiliated with the FIC on June 8, 1968. Outings on the water take place on the Corno River in San Giorgio di Nogaro in the Province of Udine, and with 1968 competitive rowing officially began.
