Description

The dock, owned by Darsena S. Marco, is operated in cooperation with Adria Ship srl; it is located at the mouth of Belvedere Channel. It has floating moorings and a stone pier. The Dock is a ridged landing that is less than five minutes from the historic center of Grado.

Convenient parking facilities are available near the berths, which are equipped with electricity and drinking water services and are less than 900 meters from the open sea exit. The port has deep-water berths from 3 to 6 meters for boats from 5 to 20 meters in length, with docks equipped with drinking water, electricity, toilets and showers with hot and cold water. New berths on the pier and on floating docks have expanded the availability of berths for annual parking and transit.

Equipment in the yard includes a 40-ton travel-lift, a 16-ton mobile crane and a 20-ton trolley that allow hauling and launching of boats, an indoor storage area capable of accommodating small vessels, an outdoor area for larger vessels, and a fuel pump. It operates as a boatyard capable of performing all common maintenance and is the service point for Italy for the Elan Shipyard.

The Dock can be reached by boat by entering the Belvedere Canal and is marked by a steady green light and has floating moorings and a stone pier. In southerly winds the undertow is pronounced.

Grado is an important tourist and spa center, also known as the Island of the Sun. The town has the typical Venetian seaside appearance, with calli, small squares and low houses surrounded by ancient walls. The Basilica of St. Euphemia with the Baptistery and the Church of the Graces are the most important buildings.

The island possesses miles of beaches sandy beaches facing completely south and exposed to the sun for the entire day and a clear sea, Blue Flag since 1989. The coastline offers sports fields, exclusive areas, areas for mothers and children, as well as free beaches and a beach accessible to dogs, the Lido di Fido Beach. Grado’s lagoon consists of a collection of small islands covered by marsh vegetation from which the characteristic thatched fishermen’s huts sprout.

The Grado Marine Spa, surrounded by greenery and just a few meters from the sea, specializing in thalassotherapy, use artificially heated sea water combined with sand warmed naturally by the sun.

Boreto alla gradese is the traditional dish of the island consisting of mixed fish (sometimes shellfish as well) that is served with to white polenta and a glass of Refosco. A he other excellence of the area is theasparagus of Fossalon featured in a festival held in the spring. Also characteristic is the Santonego, a grappa flavored with santonico, a herbaceous plant that grows in the very water of the lagoon.

Every first Sunday in July in Grado, the Perdon di Barbana is celebrated during which a procession of boats decorated with flowers, garlands and flags reaches the shrine on Barbana Island to fulfill an ancient vow.

Do you need to sell your boat? You are in the right place! yachtdigest.com is in fact the largest online portal on recreational boating and in this section you will be able to write your ad for free if you want to sell your boat. Adding a new sales message is very simple and intuitive as is finding a boat you are interested in buying, but to make your listing even more appealing, we want to give you some general but important pointers that you can follow if you wish.

First of all, try to personalize your ad, describing the history of the boat and perhaps the reason why you are selling it, this way you will gain more trust from the reader.

You can call it “half-new” if it is almost new, or “used” by specifying whether or not it is in good condition. It indicates the condition of the engines, the year of registration, how many owners it has had-most importantly, it indicates whether the boat has been owned by a single owner: it increases interest to those reading the ad.

The goodness of your craft must shine through in your message, because before you can convince someone, you yourself must be convinced that the product is good.

It is important that no spelling errors are made in the advertisement, so reread the message well before putting it online. The language then must be clear and simple, understandable to all.

It serves to attract interest and induce the reader to continue reading; it is the most important part and should summarize in one line the whole message we want to give. Unfortunately, you don’t have much chance to stand out much except with something really original to attract attention. So focus on truly original details of the boat, its real qualities: in the yachtdigest.com portal this brief summary will appear by hovering over the picture of the boat with the mouse.

It is important to clearly include the general record of the vessel. Always enter: shipyard, model, length, width, draft, engines, number of cabins, year of construction, price.

In the boat sheet accurately enter all boat details, standard and extra equipment. It is useful to communicate many details and details for those who are really interested and will continue reading beyond the first few lines.

Suggest to the reader who wants to buy the best features of your craft, and do not indicate-unless it is necessary to inform the buyer in advance-information that might negatively influence the reader.

Always indicate the price. Unless you absolutely do not want to deal, we recommend adding the words “price negotiable” which gives an incentive for the buyer to contact you.
